Why is your URL a name?
Funny story, this url was actually the first site I never made, and back then I was a bit daft and didn’t realize what it meant when I filled out that section. However we like using this board. It’s got a lot of good memories, and a good vibe. It feels like home to us, so I hope it will feel like home to you, too.

So, who are the Heaton’s and what is Heaton INC?
The Heaton’s originated as part of a very old set of premades, and we loved part of the plots so much we’ve brought them with us here. Heaton INC is the largest property development company in town and they own both apartment blocks we feature, as well as the Grady Hollow housing estate. They also own a lot of commercial properties like the mall and the cinema. If you’d like to play a Heaton, just contact the other Heaton characters to check it by them =)

I tried to log in, but my account was deleted?
There are only a few reasons why an admin would have deleted your account. The main ones being: you failed to complete and activity check, or your application was denied. There is more information about denied applications in the application guide, but if for whatever reason you would like to re-activate said account, just re-register with the same user-name. If the user-name has been taken you may still register, but we cannot re-instate any archived posts.

Do I need to be on every day?
Ideally, that would be amazing. However that isn’t reality. Everyone is busy with other commitments and this is for fun, so we don’t want to turn it into a chore. We encourage you to at least sign into all your accounts on every visit, and post as often as you can though. If there are things that will cause a decrease in your normal activity, just post and let us know. We want to create a fun environment, so please be respectful, don’t bug for posts, and let people know why you are delayed in posting, so everyone is happy.

My desired face/song/claim is in use, but hasn’t been claimed on the list, can I make the claim?
While we are a first in, first served site, people make mistakes. It would be such a shame to take a claim from someone because they simply forgot to claim, or there was a miss-hap when the claims are being updated. In instances like these, it is our policy that we send a PM to the original owner of said claim, and give them 48 hours to claim, before we can offer it to the new person. We really do encourage you to make claims as quickly as you can, though.

Why was an image I posted deleted?
The maximum graphic sizes in the rules are not a guide. Images larger can and will stretch the post tables, and throw the skin out of whack. Please remember that if you are posting blockquotes, this makes the maximum size that an image can be before it stretches is smaller again. If you would like to align your post with a certain image size, you may do this using the Enhanced table feature. Click here for an overview of this feature.
