-- THEODORE IGNATIUS ALCOTT !
-- NAME: Theodore Ignatius Alcott -- NICKNAMES: Theo -- AGE & BIRTHDAY: Nineteen, September sixteenth -- BIRTH PLACE: Capeside -- ORIENTATION: Bi-curious -- OCCUPATION & SCHOOL GRADE: Musician and trust fundee (regrettably) -- SECRET: 020. You’re a closet romantic -- PLAYED BY: Ed Westwick
-- PERSONALITY !
-- BROODY: Always with a constant scowl on his face, Theo is a rather brooding young soul. He feels and thinks things deeply. A complex ball of emotions. The smallest thing can send him into a melancholy muse about the meaning of life. He can be a rather draining person, as he constantly seems to be in depressing funks. But by the same note, he doesn’t often share his deep thoughts with people, so it isn’t as though many people get the chance to be dragged down into his world. To those that do know him though, he can get rather sulky and childish about certain things, spending days moping around about something that really shouldn’t matter.
—POETIC: Perhaps it’s all the deep philosophical musings, but Theodore can be a rather poetic person. When he does choose to express his deep thoughts, he does it rather eloquently. He has rather good verbal skills, not to mention written skills. In fact that’s mostly how he does express himself; through music and lyrics, poetry and just prose in general. He’s not particularly showy with his skills, in fact he’s actually kind of private about it. He carries around a small, black lever bound book to write in, but don’t even try to read it, because you’d be more likely to get growled at, or worse..
-- RESERVED: Theodore doesn’t really get himself involved in things. With people. He stays at a distance of social circles, and never bothers himself with the petty drama of his peers. Some people hate being on the outer, but Theodore? He thrives on it. He loves being a mystery to people. An ever elusive soul you can’t tie down or feel connected to. When he finds himself becoming too involved, he often needs to take a large step back; get some space from the situation. He’s not a robot though, really, he does get emotions involved. He just chooses not to deal with them.
-- LOVES: Music, Writing, Poetry, Alone time, Philosophy, Keeping people at a distance, Seeming mysterious, his base guitar, Angst, Dark Corners of Clubs, Sex, Mangos. -- HATES: Overly happy people, Giggling girls, Crying, His Money, Society Events, Conforming, Computer generated music, Dance/trance music, Corny pop songs, Clutter, Sugary alcoholic drinks, Egg Whites.
-- HISTORY !
Born into the easy life, Theodore has spent a rather good part of his life trying to get out of the life he was bred into. The Alcott family have always had money, aristocrats as far back as the family tree has been done. Theodore was the first born to Odette Alcott and husband/successful business man, Alistair. Odette was a rather intense mother. Always worrying about every little thing when it came to her child. She would jump every time he whimpered. She would always have a spare pacifier on hand, because no way was her son using one after it fell. His father was a little more easy-going about it all, but he humoured his wife. After all, she wore the pants in the family.
As the child grew older, he continued to be very closely looked after. His diet would only consist of completely natural and organic foods. His clothes and hair were always kept immaculate.. Everything was monitored and planned. One thing Odette hadn’t planned on though was Theodore’s personality. He was a melancholy little child, and no one ever really knew why. He’d sit and stare out the window, thinking deep seven year old thoughts, feeling deep seven year old feelings. He didn’t much like playing out-doors, or making too many friends with his peers. This stressed out the over-protective mother, resulting in her putting far too much pressure on him to ‘be happy and make friends’.
This was a pressure he sought to escape. This manifested itself in his teen years with him drawing back from his family. He still cares about them; sure. He just doesn’t want to be a part of the silly little world of throwing money at things and partying. He finds it all rather shallow actually. Besides the less he has to do with his mother, the less he has to feel like a disappointment because he’s not the chipper socialite she wanted from her son. He moved away from the circles his parents set up for him, and found his own way in the world. Found things that excited him.
He pretty much broke his parent’s heart though, when he chose not to go to college. They’d both figured he’d get a good education and either join his father or become a lawyer (after all, he was rather good with words.) Instead though, he chose to pursue his music. That caused his relationship with his parents to grow even more fractured. Though, they still do help him financially. Allowing him to live off the trust fund that was to be for college. Theodore’s not exactly fond of that though..
-- SAMPLE !
Drunk. She wasn’t.. Was she? Sophie frowned to herself. She was, wasn’t she? Huh. How did that even happen? The brunet tried to replay her evening. She couldn’t remember having that much to drink really. Some champagne. One or two glasses. Oh.. And the Midori Hm. Still, that wasn’t that much. Luke had consumed almost twice as much and he was holding up just fine! Oh.. Luke. She remembered him. The pout that had been on her lips shifted into a smile. She’d had a lovely night with him. To be honest, she secretly adored the fact her husband hadn’t been able to attend. It meant she could let loose. Drinking wasn’t exactly something Nate liked to do a lot of- had to be responsible and all that. And it wasn’t as though Sophie wanted to drink often.. It was just nice, when she didn’t have Holly, to let her hair down.
She’d slipped off her heals before she even made it to Luke’s car. They weren’t exactly the most practical of shoes when you were tottling around, trying not to fall. In fact, the whole journey to the parking-lot had been rather tricky. It was the only reason really, she had let Luke get behind the wheel. There was no way she’d make it walking home. Normally she’d have forbidden him to drive and hidden his keys. For once though, Sophie O’Shea wasn’t on mother duty. She did voice her concerns though. Albeit in a giggly fashion, still though. She had to admit though, he wasn’t that bad. She supposed it was natural driving ability that helped. He was such a lovely driver.. The way his arms stretched out to the steering wheel- Oh. He’d stopped the car, and was talking.
Offering him a warm smile, the brunette giggled. “Fine. Fiine. You’re an amazing drunk driver. I will never doubt you again. Ever ever.” She leaned forward, and pressed her finger softly to his nose. She wasn’t exactly sure why, nor was she ashamed about it. She just... felt like touching him in some way. That was the thing about being drunk, your brain didn’t filter your actions for you. It was nice. Not having so many thoughts buzzing around. These days her brain seemed to go on overload when Luke was around. Letting her finger drop away, she leant back into her seat, attempting to undo her seatbelt. Thing was, she couldn’t exactly get it to work. Since when did these things get so complicated? Frowning, she tried to suppress the urge to giggle.
“Ukie. I think your car is in love with me. It won’t let me get out..” She bit her lip, turning to look at the man beside her. Brown eyes took him in. Had she already told him how good he looked in that suit? Hm, she was sure she had. So instead, she simply giggled. Everything seemed so amusing to the girl right now. Even the idea of being stuck inside Luke’s car forever.
