-- ASTORIA JADE LENNOX !
-- NAME: Astoria Jade Lennox -- NICKNAMES: Stori, Lennox -- AGE & BIRTHDAY: Nineteen, July 7th -- BIRTH PLACE: Manhattan Beach, California -- ORIENTATION: Heterosexual -- OCCUPATION & SCHOOL GRADE: College Sophomore and Dancer -- SECRET: 011. You’re in love with your best friend -- PLAYED BY: Susan Coffey
-- PERSONALITY !
-- KIND-HEARTED: Astoria is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. She'd stop on the side of the street just to ask homeless people how they are doing and give them change. This sweetheart lives for charity and would probably open her house up to the homeless. Animals are her weakness and she fights for animal rights or at least talks about it a lot. Stori was raised as a child to be very accepting and open to others and never to judge before truly meeting someone, though to be honest, everyone judges everyone. She tries to stay modest and out of the drama. Usually, others' feelings are considered before hers and she puts their needs before hers. You can go to her for anything and expect her to give you insightful advice.
-- ARTISTIC: Astoria, to be completely blunt, is a performing artist. Guitar, piano, dance, singing, acting, violin, gymnastics, painting. You name it, she's done it or at least tried it before. Astoria is an artistic person and loves performing, mostly in dance. Her childhood consisted of many different art forms, but the one she was most focused in was dance. Dance has been a big part of her life growing up, seeing as she competed in many prestigious competitions. Now in college, Stori majors in dance and is currently teaching at the local dance conservatory, working with younger talent.
-- OUTSPOKEN: You'd be surprised by what comes out of this girl's mouth at times. She's used to responding to most questions or comments sarcastically and she hasn't quite learned how to hold her tongue very well. Astoria often makes witty comments that may slightly offend others around her, but she doesn't like to censor her thoughts. She speaks openly about how she feels and doesn't care about what others think of her opinions. More often than not, she has a lot on her mind and isn't afraid to speak her mind. Arguing with her isn't the best idea, considering her love of opinions. She'll fight to win you over and she won't let herself lose an argument to you.
-- SHORT-TEMPERED: Stori, though kind, doesn't have a lot of patience for people. Though she is open and accepting of others, first impressions mean a lot to her. If you blow it the first time, good luck getting back on her good side. There have been several instances where she has blown up on the people around her, from classmates to fellow dancers at her studio. Astoria likes to get things done and takes charge, putting things in her own hands. Her impatience constantly gets the better of her and she blows up on people at times, though she is trying to better herself.
-- WILD: Parties are the greatest things in the world, in her eyes. Astoria would never pass up a good party and she does have some bad habits. Never in a million years would Stori smoke, but she can't pass up a drink every time. She likes to have a good time and she often finds herself taking sips of drinks here and there. She tries to limit herself and doesn't do too bad of a job, though she would like to try and quit alcohol. Drugs and smoking are activities she would never take part in, though she does give off the vibe to people at times.
-- GUARDED: Raised in a family full of boys, Stori kept her emotions and problems to herself. She learned from her own mistakes and constantly urged herself to just get up and keep going. You can attempt to learn about her past, but good luck getting through the wall she's built up around her memories. Emotion isn't popular with Astoria and she doesn't enjoy letting others know how she feels at a particular moment in time. Someone that she can trust with her entire life will most likely learn the most about her past, but it takes a lot to get to that level with this girl. Trust is a big issue in her life and she can't bear to let her guard down in the fear of getting hurt again.
-- LOVES: Dance, Indie & Alternative Music, Cooking, Baking, Animals, Rainstorms, Journaling, Reading, Texting, Photography, Modeling, Fashion, Cuddling, Kisses, Alcohol, Tea, Giving Advice, Cheerleading, Volleyball, Late Nights, Coffee.
-- HATES: Animal abuse, Chocolate, Sweet foods in general, Shit talkers, Early mornings, Alarm clocks, Rap music, Titles, Hangovers, Boring parties, Silence, Texting and driving.
-- HISTORY !
Martin and Danica married on June 12th and the wedding was beautiful. Over four hundred guests attended and celebrated the marriage of two very powerful people in California. Martin, being an award-winning actor was living the good life with his beautiful bride at his side. Danica, a pediatrician, worked hard to make everything run smoothly in the Lennox household. Two years later, their first child was born. Christian Lennox was the first of the Lennox children, shortly followed by Mathieu Lennox. Next in line were the two twins of the family, Parker and Colton Lennox. The Lennox brood was large in number until finally it was finished off with the most important package in the couple's life; a baby girl was born on July 7th. Astoria Jade Lennox was born in the world creating hardly any noise. At first, Danni had been worried about the child, but she turned out just fine, as you'll soon learn.
Stori was brought up in a strict manner. Etiquette was important in the household and none of the children were allowed to slack off. 'Please' and 'Thank You' went a long way in the Lennox household. The children were taught that even though they were extraordinarily rich, they did not receive the right to expect anything from anyone else. It was all about fair treatment of others and it seemed that little Stori had the hardest time learning this concept. She hated to share as a child. She'd scream and fight with her brothers to get what she wanted and she was regarded as the 'brat' of the family. She made a scene out of the smallest things and she was known for her constant fussing when she didn't get her way, especially in front of an audience at the grocery store or down at the beach. As she aged, Astoria grew mild and she went through private school like her angry childhood never existed.
She was a role model in class up until the eighth grade. She did her work, struggled to maintain Straight A's, and even balanced dance on the side. That is, until freshman year of high school. Dance slowly made its way to the top of her priority list and it took the front seat while academics and family took to the back burner. She spent at least four hours a day at the studio, dancing until she was ready to pass out on the spring, wood floors. Grades began to slip and fights erupted between the young girl and her parents. Threats to remove her from dance killed Stori on the inside. How did she deal with this? One answer solved the problem and it was her best friend. He was her childhood friend since first grade and he had always been her shoulder to cry on and the person she could go to for everything and cry in front of, seeing as she refused to let her guard down around her parents.
She made bad decisions in high school, starting to get involved with the wrong crowd. Astoria lived for the parties, the alcohol, the dancing. She wanted it all. At the same time, her parents were going through a rough time, seeing as her mother had been diagnosed with cancer. Astoria found herself struggling in school and at home with her mother being so ill. The beginning of her junior year of high school, Astoria's mother passed away after a long struggle with cancer. The family moved to Capeside where Astoria's mother had been born and raised as a child. It seemed at least that Astoria's life was taking a turn for the better. Junior and senior year seemed to impact the young girl. She showed signs of maturity in her upperclassmen years and her grades improved drastically, though she still had a short temper and constantly grew impatient of others around her. Now a college sophomore, Astoria is focusing on dance and is simply a lost soul looking for love, which she has found in her best friend, though she can't bring herself to tell him in fear of losing him.

Green eyes scanned the closet. It had been a while since the break up and jade was slowly starting to forget about casey, well at least she attempted. She was being kept busy with work and tony, who was like a friends with benefits, though she didn't really know what their relationship was at the moment. She shrugged and dug through the clothes hanging up in her walk-in closet. The brunette was quiet as she picked up a dark, cropped jacket and paired it with her favorite black skinny jeans. She hung the clothes up on the hook and quickly undressed, jumping into the shower. Her friends had set her up on a blind date and it was an even that was much needed in jade's life. She had thought about casey and tony too much and she needed something new in her life. Ten minutes passed and jade found herself stepping out of the shower, a slight frown gracing her features.
She was extremely nervous about the date, seeing as she hadn't been on one, well, since that beach night with casey. She closed her eyes for a moment, living in the memory before the vibration of her iphone brought her back to reality. She clutched her towel around her thin frame and jumped for the phone, picking it up and unlocking it. Her eyes scanned the message. Date at six thirty tonight. Meet him at the strip. She sighed and bit her lip, turning off the screen and setting her phone back down to continue charging. She didn't know what it was about guys that made her stomach churn. Well, she did, she just didn't want to think about it. The reason why she hadn't wanted to get in a relationship with casey was because of her fear of being left alone by yet another guy. Jade refused to be left with the same sob story. She had dealt with enough guys that left her or cheated on her with another girl.
She brushed a clump of hair out of her eyes and sighed, running a hand through her wet hair. She went back to the closet and quickly got herself dressed, picking out a pair of heels to wear with her outfit. Jade soon found herself drying her hair and applying a light amount of makeup to her fair skin. She stared at herself for a few moments, unable to move away from her reflection. There was a hint of pain in her eyes as she adjusted her jacket. The brunette was weary of losing another guy. Goodbyes had always been the worst. She shrugged off the negative feelings and made eye contact with her reflection. "just relax. How bad could it be? She questioned herself. Jade snatched up her phone and tucked it into her pocket and grabbed her keys off the counter, turning off the light as she slipped out the door.
She soon found herself in the car and making her way down to the pier that was aptly named, "the strip." as she pulled into a parking spot, she hesitated, looking into her rearview mirror. Was this a good idea? She couldn't disappoint and stand someone up, though. Jade wasn't the type of person to leave someone waiting like that. She forced herself out of the car and she made her way up to the pier, walking along the edge near the railing. Her green eyes flickered from shop to shop. The lights were bright and it was beautiful. Her eyes caught sight of the sunset and instantly, she was mesmerized by how beautiful the sky was. It was a pale blue hue with orange tints and just a tinge of red and pink. She gave a small half-smile at the scene and leaned against the wooden rails, her green eyes running over the water as she scanned it for signs of life, getting herself sucked into her thoughts again.

This is all good and I'm ready to accept you, I just need to know how your character got from California to Capeside, as you never mentioned. Just plug it into your history somewhere.
