-- QUINN SOPHIA HEALEY!
-- NAME: Quinn Sophia Healey -- NICKNAMES: Quinnie, Q -- AGE & BIRTHDAY: 21, February 8th -- BIRTH PLACE: Capeside -- ORIENTATION: Heterosexual -- OCCUPATION & SCHOOL GRADE: Ballet instructor/Dancer -- PLAYED BY: Ashley Greene
-- PERSONALITY !
--- STRONG In every aspect of her personality, Quinn is strong. Her traits are shown strongly, she remains level-headed under pressure and emotionally there's not a whole lot that really gets to her. The furthest thing from any sort of damsel, this also means Quinn is incredibly reluctant to accept help, even when she is well aware that she needs it. If she's going to make it she's going to make it on her own and she believes the only way to do it is to be the strongest, best version of herself possible. Besides, what was once a man's world has finally been opened up to women and there's no way Quinn's going to turn back the years of feminism by playing the part of the little girl who desperately needs rescuing.
--- DRIVEN Quinn's dreams aren't just dreams. God, no. If there was ever anyone to work for the things they wanted it's Quinn. Once she has her mind set to something, nothing can stop her, no matter what that particular thing might be. A relationship, a recipe, an expensive pair of shoes - if Quinn wants it bad enough she'll do everything in her power to get it and make it work. In fact, she's something of an overachiever in most circumstances and can often push herself just a little too hard, but nothing in Quinn's life gets half-done. She's so driven to reach her goals that most of the time she manages the things that might not have seemed possible at first.
--- LOYAL Perhaps it's something to do with the fact that everything in Quinn's life has to be done to the extreme or perhaps it's simply her firm belief in sticking by a person you care about, but whatever the reason Quinn is loyal almost to a fault. As far as relationships go - in Quinn's books - monogamy is the only way it will work and even if a friend has betrayed her in the past she'll be there in times of need. In a way, it often causes a sort of 'doormat' effect, but if she didn't practice what she preached it would only be hypocritical. As far as Quinn is concerned it's important to treat others how she wants to be treated, and loyalty is something she values very highly.
-- LOVES: Swan Lake (the ballet), winning, puppies, yellow roses, acoustic music, pink grapefruit, tights, rainy days, men who smell good, sexual chemisrty, lingerie.
-- HATES: lMeat-heads, cars, football, tomatoes, sci-fi movies, failure, red roses, crowds, moths, cheaters.
-- HISTORY !
Quinn Healey never had a father. Well, no, that's a lie - everyone has a father, but the difference is that Quinn's was never known as her father. It's not a sad story as is often assumed but is, rather, something of a victory for women everywhere. Her mother was a feminist - a righteous woman who believed she could do everything and have everything she wanted without the partnership or support of any man. First Katherine Healey got herself a law degree and a well-paying career and then she bought a beautiful weatherboard house in Ohio.
The question was, however, what would fill the three empty rooms? She'd always wanted children but there was no way she would find herself in a relationship and adoption wasn't really open for a woman like her, at least not at that time. And so she asked her best friend if he'd do the honor of impregnating her. Nine months later a beautiful baby girl named Quinn Sophia Healey was brought into the world and brought home to a house that catered to women and only women. Katherine's life was complete then. She'd done what society told her she couldn't do and Quinn was terribly spoilt simply for the fact that she existed.
She was taught to be strong and brave and independant and that she certainly didn't need to rely on anyone to get by. When she started ballet lessons at four years old it was all Quinn could ever dream of doing. Her mother supported the decision, supported Quinn's dreams and encouraged her to do the things that would make her happiest in life. Although she'd have loved to have taken her career in dance to a more professional level, Quinn couldn't bear the thought of leaving the town in which she was born, couldn't dream of leaving her mother.
And so she found herself a job as a ballet instructor at the local cultural dance centre, working with children suits her as does the fact she is still able to dance every day. She'd like to take it further, in the future, but for now she is happy to pursue her dreams a little more quietly.

What was she doing here? Hadley Middleton wasn't the kind of girl to be caught dead in a pub like this (by means of her reputation, at any rate) and yet here she was, gliding through the doors and directly towards the bar, completely intent on getting the strongest drink she could order from somewhere with standards as low as it seemed to be sporting. Alcohol this early in the afternoon was another rule being broken. No respectable lady started hitting the booze before the sun was even down, but with the day she'd had it was either a glass of Long Island Iced Tea or climbing into bed and refusing to get out for days on end.
The thing about being an intern was that she managed to shoulder the blame for every little mistake made by any individual in the company and, in turn, it was Hadley who took the abuse from unhappy clients. A woman who's wedding dress was supposed to be complete openly threw a box of straight-pins directly at Hadley's feet whilst another ripped apart a decorative flower arrangement on the front counter. Yes, she'd wanted to be involved in fashion design her whole life, but Hadley had been starting to wonder if the hours of abuse were really worth it at the end of the day.
And thus, with a head full of clutter and a whole lot of steam to blow off she'd walked from her house to the closest pub (it saved driving drunk and also paying for a taxi - the pay package of an intern wasn't exactly flattering) and the only thing on her mind was just how much she needed a stiff drink and one of the cigarettes she usually kept stashed under her mattress only to be smoked in times of complete crisis. Now was certainly one of those times.
For a few moments Hadley considered taking a seat at the bar but then made the decision that it would probably look all too desperate. So, when her drink was poured and passed across the surface, she took it and turned to look for a quiet place in which she could sit and drown her sorrows. The only problem was that an individual she hadn't really wanted to see seemed to have the same idea. Theodore Alcott - her ex-flame, musician, and complete slut when it came to his groupies. Or at least that was what Hadley had pegged him as, at any rate.
She could be childish and avoid him - pretend she hadn't noticed his presence or even his existence - or she could say a quick hello, finish her drink and move along. She was more mature than hiding from her problems for the most part, and so she made her way over to the young man with all the confidence she could muster.
"Theodore," she murmured, nodding her head in greeting. In some strange sense she almost hoped he'd ask her to leave him alone.
