--AMANDA REED WALKER!
-- NAME: Amanda Reed Walker -- NICKNAMES: Manda, Mandy -- AGE & BIRTHDAY: Seventeen, March 10th -- BIRTH PLACE: Capeside -- ORIENTATION: Straight -- OCCUPATION & SCHOOL GRADE: Senior -- SECRET: 036. You throw tantrums at home sometimes -- PLAYED BY: Blake Lively
-- PERSONALITY !
-- SELFISH: Amanda Walker is a fairly self centred person. She’s constantly putting herself and her own needs before everyone else. The catch is, she doesn’t even realise she does it. Sometimes she can purposely do something selfish but most of the time? She doesn’t even realise she’s acting that way. Which doesn’t make her vindictive, just completely oblivious to anyone besides herself. Which is hard to say if that’s better or worse than doing it vindictively. She just doesn’t seem to realise how others may see her actions and how she affects others. Generally she feels really guilty when she finds out she’s done something hugely selfish, but her stubborn streak can sometimes get in the way of her apologising.
-- SHAMELESS: Manda has never had much of what other people call inhabitations. She does what her heart and impulses tell her to do. Not what later on, her head informs her may have been the better choice. It makes her really unpredictable at times, since her impulses are never the same the next day. One moment they will tell her to go left, the next it’s right. There are only a few things she’s ever been constant about in her whole life, and even those she’s known to have crises’ of faith. While she is impulsive, there is one thing that does hold her back. She does care too much about the way other people see her. She’s a little too wrapped up in appearances.
-- SPARKLY: Amanda Walker sparkles. She doesn’t have diamond encrusted skin like a certain author may suggest, but she does indeed sparkle. Whether it’s the way she does her hair and make-up or her alluring smile, she draws people in. The girl is charismatic. She can slot into any social situation and come out looking like roses. The older she gets though, the more she’s feeling as though there should be some substance under all the blonde hair and smiling. People seem to have a hard time looking past all that though, and taking her seriously. She plays her part of stereotypical blonde prom-queen far too well at times. Which leaves Amanda herself wondering what’s underneath it all.
-- LOVES: Pearls, Art, Photography, Colours, Colour Co-ordination, Attention, Parties, Dinner Parties, The water, Hair Accessories, Coffee, Chocolate, Audrey Hepburn, Classic Hollywood films, Musicals, Cuddling, Affection, Being Right, Sugary Treats, Pie, Mess
-- HATES: Conflict, Being Disliked, Clashing Colours, Cleaning, Bugs, Crying, Cabbage, Being Told No, Si-Fi Movies, Gold Jewellery, Being cooped up for too long, Storms, Wine, Rap Music, Cooked Carrot, Fake Blonde, Fake Tans, Pretty shoes that hurt, Artificial Grape Flavour, Dark lipstick
-- HISTORY !
Some people have completely charmed lives. Amanda included. The girl was born as the eldest child to David (an architect) and Elizabeth (a psychologist), both somewhat career minded, so they started having children a little later in life. Meaning they were both in stable jobs, with disposable in-come by the time their little bundle of joy came along. Which was good, considering what a high maintenance girl she was, even as a child. Amanda quickly got used to being spoilt by her parents, and soon came to expect it. Which could explain some of her more selfish tendencies.
From a young age, Amanda had been a daddy’s girl. The man often worked from home, and Mandy would sit up on his desk, endlessly distracting him from his work. She could remember once, when she was four, she had wanted to surprise him with something nice, so she had attempted to colour in one of his designs. Her father hadn’t known how to react, if he should be angry, or smile at the intention behind what his daughter had done. Their relationship continued to stay strong as she grew, which was nice. Some girls tended to shire away from their fathers as they got older, not Amanda though.
While she was charming, and rather creative, Academics never seemed to be her strong suit. Not that Amanda minded. She viewed school as a social occasion, and spent her days flitting about, making friends, and fast becoming one of the more popular girls at school. Being such a small town, her social status was very much set by the time she hit high school. Where she continued to seemingly glide. Things came easily to girls like Amanda. Friends, cute boyfriends, the lead in the school play.. Of course, nobody seemed to realise how hard she needed to work to pass maths, or how bad she felt when she hurt someone.. Most people just saw the sparkly young lady.
