She asked to his greeting of hey. She was a bit surprised when he asked her to dance. She shrugged her shoulders. ”Sure why not.” She took his hand and headed out to the dance floor. ”We were good at this once. I’m sure we can figure out how to get it right.” She said with a smile. She was putting her best foot forward with him, but she would stay guarded. She wasn’t exactly sure why he was deciding now to be friends again, but she certainly was going to stay on guard until she figured it out. ”So how is your date going? I adore Evie. She is really fantastic.” Small talk, that would keep it friendly enough. She had habit of leading when dancing and now was no different as she led him around the floor.-- EMMA GRACE MASTERSON !
-- NAME: Emma Grace Masterson

-- ORIENTATION: Straight, boys boys and more boys
-- OCCUPATION & SCHOOL GRADE: Sophomore

-- Princess: Yes Emma is a princess. She is a princess in every sense of the word. She has never had to work overly hard for anything in her life. She is daddy’s little girl and she has him wrapped around her little finger. She abuses it when necessary to get what she wants. And she is not ashamed of it. She is quite proud to be a princess. Some girls are offended when they are called princess or daddy’s little girl, not Emma, She wears it like a badge of honor. To her there is no better place for a little girl to be than the apple of her fathers eye. And that Steph most certainly was.
-- Perky: Emma has an ultimate sunny disposition. She is a morning noon and night person. She always has a smile on her face and is always looking for the sunny side of things. Some people think it’s an act. But its not. It is how she is. She always has been a glass half full kind of girl. No matter what situation she is put into she always seemed to find the way to make the best of it. Her perkiness also seems to come out in buckets when she is cheering. It works out well for her in that. It puts her right in front of the squad, leading them. She wants to be Captain next year, and her perkiness, that will be the deciding factor, she knows it.
-- Outspoken: Emma is not afraid to speak her mind. It sometimes gets her into trouble. She really didn’t have that filter that everyone else had. Well she does, but she calls her Beth. You see Emma, often said things without thinking about them, hell she always said things without thinking about them. The hard part about it was she always said everything with a smile. So she had that sickly sweet sound to her voice. And anyone who didn’t know her wasn’t sure if she was serious or not. But Emma rarely said anything she didn’t mean.
-- LOVES: Shopping. Cheering. Yes a cheerleader. Beth, her bestie, Markus, her favorite boy. Music, it makes the world go around, a really good bowl of pasta. Baking, being Daddy’s girl, a good party, a nice long run, sailing, the beach, a perfect spring day, the first snow of the year, photography
-- HATES: Asparagus, stupid people, animal abuse, ignorance, people who hurt her family, her mom’s new husband, spiders, snakes, her cousin Marie, boredom, baseball, being dirty, not being dressed perfectly-- HISTORY !
Emma was born as the only child to Michael and Marissa Masterson on June 28th 1994. It was the hottest day of the year that year and Marissa made sure to tell Emma all the time when she was little. Her mother was not exactly cut out to be a mom. She didn’t know how to handle a baby. Lucky for Emma, Michael did. He was the perfect father she could have asked for. He doted on her every minute of every day. So when they divorced it only made sense that Michael would try and get custody of her. She was only four years old when it happened so she doesn’t remember much, which was probably good. Because it was a hard fought custody battle which finally came down to her mother saying the only reason she tried to get custody was because she wanted to Michael to take something from Michael that he loved dearly. And the only thing that he loved in this world that would affect him forever if he lost it was Emma. In the end Michael won and Marissa had limited visitation.
For years it was just Michael and Emma living in their house on Boston harbor. But one day, he came home and brought someone with him. Her name was Alicia. Emma was hesitant that first day, she was only nine and had been the only girl in her dads life for the last five years. But soon after she met her, Emma was smitten with her as well. She adored Alicia, more than she ever did her own mother. A year later her father married Alicia and the family became three. Her dad decided then to move the family to Capeside. Emma was thrilled. Mostly because her dad said they were getting a new house and she was getting a room with her own bathroom. She couldn’t wait. When they got to Capeside, Emma couldn’t have been happier.
When she was in Boston, she had begun ice skating and she loved it. So when they moved to Capeside it was the first thing she found. That is where she met her favorite person in the whole world Beth. They hit it off right away, they were both giggling through their first practice making the coach declare they could not be in the same group anymore. From that day forward they were friends. That is how she got into the group. She is the only one not born and raised there in Capeside, but Beth said she was an honorary native. The two of them are the best of friends. Beth is the one that tells her she should give her mom a chance when she tries and makes peace with her and Beth is her conscience when she speaks her mind without thinking. Emma is the one that makes Beth step outside of her comfort zone do things she might otherwise not, its what makes them work so well.-- SAMPLE !
Kiley had been happy with how things had turned out so far. She had dressed and introduced Eve in the grand way she wanted to. She was glad to see it had gotten the response she was looking for from him. She smiled and waved at her roommate and friend as she walked out the car to with her date. Kiley needed to make one more stop in the house before she left for the ball. She wanted to show Carey her dress and the entire ensemble before she left. A quick jaunt in his room, for she knew if she stayed in there too long she could talk him into staying and not going at all. And an empty house with jest he and her was tempting enough for her to want to stay, but she had just gotten all dressed up and she wanted to go see everyone else. So a few minutes with him and quick fix of her makeup and hair and she was off.
Kiley drove their dads Lexus to the ball. Not that the mustang wouldn’t have done fine, it was just that the Lexus had a bit more room in the front seat and the dress Kiley was wearing required it that was for sure. She carefully filled herself into the driver side and had laugh a little, she literally filled up the whole thing. It was good she was familiar with the car, she certainly couldn’t see her feet to find the pedals or the radio dials. Luckily it was on station she liked so that wasn’t much of a problem for her. The drive to Port Angeles was smooth as silk, not a problem. She pulled up to where the ball was taking place, climbed out the door and handed the keys to the valet. She also gave him fifty bucks to keep it near the front. Kiley was going to make her appearances, say her hellos, dance a couple of dances and then sneak back home to a house that would only contain her boyfriend for a few hours. The attendant nodded, she smiled a thank you and headed it. Paying for her ticket, she went inside.
Stepping through the door way Kiley was immediately impressed with the décor. It was better done than she had expected it to be for it being a Port Angeles event. She made her way through the initial crowd seeing a few people she knew saying her hellos. She did feel a bit out of place it seemed as if everyone was there with a date. She tried not to let it get her down. She continued around the room. She saw Nora and Caden, Tanner and Blair, and Cassie and Nixon all huddled together. She would have to get the story later from Nora and Blair about the boys and when they decided to show up. Something told Kiley she was going to have apologize to Tanner a millions times over to try and fix how horrible she had been to him.
Kiley had found a few people from back home she didn’t mind talking to and began giving a recount of recent history in her life. She had not really kept too close of touch with the people in Forks once she left. It wasn’t her favorite place and most of the people she liked were in Seattle now an she saw them all the time. So she had plenty to fill those she was talking to. But then a tap on her shoulder made her turn away from them. She turned her head curiously to see Dimitri standing in front of her.”Did you lose Evie already?”
