-- HISTORY ! Amy is a foster child, who was taken from a pair of drug dealers in Odessa Texas little Amy was not even one when she was placed in the system and thankfully quickly adopted by a wealthy couple from California. Debbie and Richard Wallace, who couldn’t conceive a child of their adopted Amy and treated Amy as if she was their own child, as Amy was so young when she was fostered she grew up calling Debbie and Richard mom and dad which nobody really minded since they were her mom and dad than her biological parents had ever been. Debbie and Richard were really open with Amy and told her of her adoption as soon as she was old enough to understand, at first of course like any other child she was shocked but understanding the circumstances grew to accept the fact and learned to live with it. She’s thought a few times of tracking down her mother and father, but the fact that her parents were addicts always sways her from the decision. Amy grew up a happy child; she had everything she wanted as the Wallace’s were wealthy a family. With Debbie being a graphics artist and Richard a bestselling writer of crime novels money was hardly ever scarce. She started school along with everyone else in California and as much as Amy enjoyed school she soon found she wasn’t as smart as others; her worst subjects where: science, Maths and Geography, while she mainly excelled in Music, English and History. After completing junior high in California the family decided it was time to move choosing the small town of Willowfeild Maine the family settled into their new home happily awaiting all the possibilities their new life here held, they made friends with the neighbours and were over all blissfully happy with their new life at Capeside. Soon after Amy started high school Debbie and Richard adopted another child, a two year old girl named Lily, Amy soon grew close to the child and loves babysitting her and generally helping Debbie out with Lily.
-- SAMPLE ! Her fingers ran across the side of her bag as she gazed dreamily at the contents; she couldn’t wait to go to the beach! She loved beaches, all the warm weather and the sand not to mention the water! Alice loved swimming; it was so much fun especially swimming underwater there was just so much to explore in the dark depths of the ocean not to mention while she was underwater the sun wouldn’t burn her. Which was one thing Alice had a problem with while coming to the beach, it was inevitable she would burn. It always happened whenever her family would go back to France she’d come back pink while Christian and her mother returned an olive brown colour. It was so unfair, she sighed as her fingers toyed with the bow in her bag as she smiled to Asha. “So when we get there, what do you want to do first?” she asked tiredly rubbing the sleep from her eyes delicately, she wasn’t tired she was just groggy she hadn’t had the usual breakfast pick me up off sugar and cornflakes. She didn’t mind though because once she got to the beach she was sure there would be an Ice cream van selling the delicious frozen treats! She’d have an ice-lolly in her opinion they were so much nicer than ice cream, especially magnums they were her favourite. “I wonder what the beach is going to look like...” she said pondering the thought silently “Do you think it’ll have lots of sea shells?” she asked pensively, collecting shells as childlike as it seemed was it was something Alice loved to do, first she’d collect them all, as many she could find then very carefully she’d poke a fine tiny hole through the middle of the shell before she’d lace them all together creating a simple but pretty necklace, it’s what she’d always do while at the beach a whole drawer at home was dedicated to her shell creations, though some of them hadn’t turned out as well as others and most of the string on a lot them had frayed over time but Alice didn’t care, she was proud of her creations and treasured them proudly. “I’m sure it’ll have a fair few,” said Aiden from the seat behind, he sat with the bag on his lap the headphones hanging out carelessly as his music blared through blasting jimmy eat world through the tiny speakers. “I wonder how much longer it’ll take to get there,” she said softly as she leant against the transparent glass of the window. “I spy with my bionic eye, something that begins with G,” said Alice as she stared out of the window the green grass of the countryside seemed to span on forever she imagined what it’d be like if it did span on forever, just a giant field stretching across the universe! “Is it grass?” asked Aiden almost stirring her from her thoughts. “Alice?” he asked poking her shoulder “Hello....um earth to Alice, is it grass?” She broke from her trance and shook her head with a grin; as a light blush covered her face at being caught day dreaming. “Yeah, s-sorry.” She said apologetically “Your turn.” She grinned as her blush faded beneath her pale skin. The game continued until finally the bus pulled into the car park, Alice’s grin widened at the site of the glistening water and the crystal like sand. It looked amazing! She stood up and linked arms with Asha grabbing her bag and hurrying off the bus jumping off the steps onto the warm sand. She grinned at the feeling of it between her toes; she missed it she didn’t even care that it itched or rubbed against her skin as her thoughts we much too occupied with the beach itself. It was so pretty just breathtaking. She set down her towel and took out her swimming costume; a nice two piece she’d bought over the summer last year it was tankini a deep blue shade with white polka dot spots. “I’m just going to get changed, I won’t be long.” She said as she walked to the cubicles grabbing one before the ques took over, it would be a nightmare to get one once the other busses arrived and she definitely didn’t fancy waiting around in the hot sun for an hour or two. Though if someone else did need it before her she didn’t mind waiting, after all it wouldn’t be fair if she took up most the time. Thankfully however most of the cubicles were empty once she reached them with only the younger students rushing in and out giggling loudly and excitedly over the prospects of what to do at the beach. She slipped inside and quickly changed her hands fumbling over the clumsy material as she slipped a white coloured sundress over her tankini. She didn’t want to just wear her bathing suit, she felt too uncomfortable, it was awkward enough having to stare at the entire student body wearing nothing but a thin layer of material, she bit her lip softly and sighed, no one would be judging her here. She wasn’t at home anymore she told herself, no one was going to comment. She stepped shyly out her sandals gently crunching across the ground as she made her way back to her friends. Averting her eyes instantly as a deep blush prickled across her cheeks at the sight of the mostly half naked male students. She kept her head down her curls formed a veil across her face as she stepped lightly and quickly as she imagined all the thick books she brought with her just waiting to be read! There were so many things to do and Alice couldn’t wait to start.
“So what do you want to do first?” she asked as her attention was once again drawn to the beautiful sea “Do you think it’ll be warm?”

-- DENIED ! Your application was very hard to read as your paragraphs are wonky and there are many incidences of missing punctuation and incorrect punctuation. You address your character as Amy nearly every time she is mentioned or as "she". Variation is key. You've not completed the personality section, as each trait is supposed to be a paragraph and your sample is written as if you are playing both characters.
I apologize and you are always welcome to try again in the future. To keep Stupid Cupid clean of inactive accounts we will move this thread and delete your account.
