-- ANDREW MICHAEL GRACEY !
-- NAME: Andrew Michael Gracey -- NICKNAMES: Andy, Drew -- AGE & BIRTHDAY: 23 & June Twenty-seventh -- BIRTH PLACE: London, England -- ORIENTATION: Heterosexual -- OCCUPATION & SCHOOL GRADE: Rising Actor -- PLAYED BY: Ian Somerhalder
-- PERSONALITY !
-- SMART: People don't think that Andrew is smart, but he is smart. To most people, you can't be hot and smart, so when Andrew surprises someone with his amazing knowledge, they look at him like he is insane. He is as smart as he is purely because Andrew knew from a young age that book smart would get you farther then street smart. Yes, Andrew is street smart, but most of the time, he is a thinker. People ask him if he didn't want to become an actor, what would he become and his answer is always a writer; he would love to be able to spread his knowledge to others.
A problem with his knowledge, though, is that people often accuse him of bragging. Yes, he can tell you in detail how Shakespeare was a hypocrite, whether you want to hear it or not, and will not stop sharing his views. Andrew feels as though whatever he thinks is the most important thing in the world and that everyone should believe in what he believes in. If not, your not smart enough. If you like his thoughts, then your one of the smartest people he has ever met.
-- JUDGMENTAL: Because of his upbringing, Andrew has a certain view about how the people of the world should act. If a girl is fatter then the ideal woman, Andrew will shun her. If a man looks too...feminine, he will make sure that he will not publicly be spotter with this male. People judge people with whom they hang out with, and Andrew is smart enough to be around the people that can help him later in life, or are looked upon in society well.
This, of course, allows people to have a negative view on him. Many people don't like how he barely gets to get to know people before passing judgment, claiming that it is not moral. Andrew has never cared what other people think of him, unless they happen to be a pretty girl, and doesn't see that changing any time soon. His father had always taught him to be seen with the best people, whenever possible, and anyone less then Andrew in his mind is just pointless to be around. If your not rich or smart or beautiful, then your not worthy to be around Andrew. His judgment not only affects the way his family looks at you, but quiet possibly how many important people look upon you. Yes, he will blackmail people.
-- ROMANTIC: While Andrew is often called a serial dater, he prides himself on being one of the last romantics. To him, love is a precious gift that should be cherished and held close. He has never cheated on any girl, nor does he plan to. Once, when is first love was mad at him for something stupid (in his opinion), he went to her window and quoted 'Romeo and Juliet', completely dressed as a British lord-with the tights, of course- and a dozen roses. The lass forgave him, of course, and told him that he was so romantic. Just the way he surprises his girlfriend of the moment, with the random delivery of dozen roses and holding the door open, Andrew loves seeing women smile and giggle at how romantic he could just be.
A problem with be romantic is that it allows his heart to be in a bad position. He doesn't like showing that he is weak, but in order to show that he is romantic at heart, he has to think highly of the woman. Most of the woman that Andrew has tried to go into a serious relationship with have rejected him flatly and haven't bothered to allow him to show the soft side. Perhaps there was one girl, Penelope, who had seen this side. She ended up sleeping with his best friend, Mark, and crushing his heart. There is a woman out there that will perhaps see him the way he is meant to be seen, but right now, Andrew guards his heart well.
-- LOVES: coffee, girls, brunettes, strawberry ice cream, dancing in the rain, getting drunk, twitter, acting, holding hands, sunny days, technology, taking long walks, dogs, little kids, playing angry birds, buying pants, whistling -- HATES: pistachio ice cream, liars, lying, cheater, pretending, disappointing his father and cecilia, being far away from his family, rap music, tattoos, rainy days, socks with holes in them, hot sand at the beach, pickles
-- HISTORY !
On June twenty-seventh, Paige and Nathanial Gracey added the newest member of their family; Andrew Michael Gracey. He would be their only child, and the pride and joy of his mother. Nathanial had never been one good with children, but even Andrew remembers a time where is father hugged his son and played catch in the backyard. Those memories are not as clear as some, like his mother's funeral and he asking why was his mother in a box and his father slapping his only son once across the face. Andrew didn't know the concept of death, but it was that day that he knew never to mention Paige around his father again. It would be years before Andrew knew the reason why his father had slapped him; it was not because of ignorance, it was because his father felt as though he was dying of a broken heart and that once his wife left, the weight of the world would be placed on his shoulders.
Some of the memories that Andrew could recall would be when he would act with his mother. Paige Gracey was a TV actress on a popular British drama, and Paige had wanted her son to follow in her footsteps. Even on the streets of London today, Andrew was often recognized because of their similar features. He had her angular face, her nose, her mouth. But people always said how his eyes were his father, and he knew this. Every day he was reminded of his looks; from the looks his father gave him sometimes (mixed with sadness and anger) and the way his agent looked at him (hope), he knew he would follow behind his mother. Once Paige died of breast cancer, even at the simple age of eight, Andrew knew that he wanted to do what his mother used to do. In fact, it became his sole goal in life.
Nathanial didn't care what his son did; the father would hire nannies and buy whatever Andrew needed, not caring at what the cost was. This was why they never had the proper son and father relationship that was often secretly craved by the two. Andrew's favorite nanny, Jennifer, brought the brunette to all the auditions that were needed and soon, Andrew began making a name for himself on the British stage. When he turned fifteen, and lost his virginity to an older cast mate, he learned that acting made women chase him. So he used his small fame for the women he wanted. When he was seventeen, he fell in love with a beautiful woman named Penelope. The two brunettes dated for a year and a half, the longest relationship ever for him, before Penny slept with Mark, Andrew's best friend. A friendship and relationship were ruined when he found out, and he vowed to protect his heart well.
When he was eighteen and a senior in high school, Nathanial told his son that he was getting married and would have two sisters. Andrew, not even aware that his father was dating, couldn't believe it. There were siblings in his family now, something he had wanted for so long. Of course, this came with a downside. The mother, Clarissa, was a real mother. Her one daughter and one son, one seventeen another sixteen, were nice enough. But now Andrew had to report to someone, and that bothered him. Never before had he had to do that, and now his life was turning upside down. He often yelled at Clarissa in the first month, and the stepmother was patient, and eventually they bonded. He won't admit it, but he loves Clarissa and his brother and sister.
He relocated to Capeside, Massachusetts to see what the town has to offer. America has always enchanted him and presented him with opportunities that London never could. People are less likely to know who he is now that he has moved to America, and while he adores his family, Andrew has craved to break free. His family is his family, but in London, his last name is all he is known for. To be known as a human with emotions in a town that most likely has no idea who Paige Gracey is, well, that's what he has always wanted. He wants to blend in.

Looking at himself in the mirror, he made a funny face before pulling at his cheeks. His skin was tanner then it had ever been before, his hair a golden brown, his eyes brilliant blue, and yet he had never been this nervous before in his life. Usually, Johnny was good at pretending as though everything was alright, but not tonight. Right now, with the pastries on the table by the door and his clothes neatly pressed, he had never felt more nervous. Vienna, whether she knew it or not, was one of the first girls that he could see himself with later in life, and it scared him. Most girls were just good distractions and he wished that she could be one too. But Vienna, in his eyes, was amazing and beautiful and so mysterious. He wanted to hold her and kiss her and love her like he knew he could if he had the chance. But it would not happen that way. There was always something in the way, and right now, it was his nerves. His nerves were killing him and making him want to cry but he sucked it up.
Mady had been a distraction and Vivienne…she wasn’t to be mentioned anytime soon. That beautiful blond shell had almost been the death of him and there was no way he was going into that discussion right now. She had been his first love, his ideal love at the time, but he had heard she had gone downhill. Hell, he had seen her go downhill. Vile rose in his throat as he realized he should tell Vienna who he had seen and where he had seen her. Telling a hopefully girlfriend that he had seen his ex in a burlesque club was not exactly something that could be brought up over dinner. It wasn’t like he wanted to talk about it at all. She was part of the past and he wanted to forget about her, but that was impossible. Vivienne had been his first love, his first sexual enjoyment and his first heartbreak. She had killed him inside and now she was going downhill. He wanted to help her, he really did, but he didn’t know how. She was different than the girl he had loved all those years ago. She wasn’t the one he wanted, but he still felt as though he had to protect her. Whether this was because he still loved her or not, well, he wasn’t ready to admit the truth.
Biting his bottom lip, he turned away from the mirror and made his way into the small foyer. His home was nothing like her extravagant house, he was sure. He lived pay check to pay check and he was sure that she had a trust fund that could pay for all his college bills and more. But that didn’t matter. Johnny wasn’t into money as much as everyone else; he just wanted to get to know the girl that was capturing his heart. He wanted her to worm her way into her life and he wanted to worm his way into her life. The car ride over was a short one, but it felt like an eternity. The food, which consisted of pastries and cakes, sat on the seat next to him. Smiling when the huge house, which made his heart beat fast, came into view, he realized that everything would be alright. And even if it wasn’t, well, it would be a lesson well learned not to trust the extremely rich people.
He hadn’t even had the chance to ring the doorbell when the door opened allowing him his first view of the pretty brunette. His breath escaped him and he took in her stunning yet casual appearance. His heart began to beat even faster than before and he was sure he would have a heart attack. ”You look stunning” Johnny finally got out, his eyes wide as saucers. A small blush appeared on his cheeks but he pretended that nothing was wrong. He felt her fingers on his arms and he followed her, trying not to drop the plates in his hand. As the rooms got grander, Johnny began to feel extremely poor. He felt as though he was worth nothing and the paintings on the wall were probably worth more than his crappy apartment doubled. If this went anywhere, she would never be allowed to enter his apartment that was for sure. Placing the plates down on the empty table, he internally sighed before smiling brightly. ”Your place is alright,” he teased as he pulled the seat out for her. ”And its perfect. Anything that doesn’t come in a pre-made box is fine with me” he chuckled, focusing his eyes on her.
