-- FELICITY HOPE SAUNDERS !
-- NAME: Felicity Hope Saunders -- NICKNAMES: Flick -- AGE & BIRTHDAY: Seventeen, December 4th -- BIRTH PLACE: Fort worth, Texas -- ORIENTATION: Heterosexual -- OCCUPATION & SCHOOL GRADE: Junior -- PLAYED BY: Lucy Hale
-- PERSONALITY !
-- SPOILT: The one thing many would know about Felicity is that she is spoilt. Her father is a large businessman and so he can afford to let his daughter buy almost anything she wants. The fact that he is almost never at home, simply gives Felicity more time to go out and get whatever her heart desires. Her father is not very strict on her, and so she is almost always allowed to buy what she wants. Her mother, of course, is the stricter of the two parents and is often the one reining their daughter back. Despite this, Felicity still manages to get almost everything and anything. This spoilt nature of hers has left her believing that she can get whatever she wants, no matter what. Not a very positive outcome. One day, hopefully, Felicity will be woken up and realise that life is not simply going to be handed over to her on a silver platter. One day, she too will have to work for her share. Until then, she is quite happy using her parents’ money to get whatever she sets her sights on. -- STUCK UP: Getting everything she wants has had yet another negative outcome on this girl’s personality. That’s right. She is a stuck up and self-centred as one could possibly be, almost. Felicity sees herself as higher than everything else, excluding her three best friends. They are the only ones that she truly views as equal to her and sometimes, even higher than herself. With everyone else though, she simply thinks that she is bigger and better than them, in every possible way. Due to this, it seems as though her only real friends are those aforementioned three best friends. Everyone else seems to stay away from this girl, as her personality and snobbish nature a not a very good turn on. She is very proud of everything she has and likes to flaunt it all in front of other people. In actual fact, she could almost be viewed as a bully in this way. -- ACTRESS: Felicity has always loved acting. It is her one true passion in life, aside from shopping. She simply loves to be up on stage in front of her adoring (and nearly non-existent) fans. This acting of hers has also made her one to exaggerate. Whenever she is telling stories or recounting events, one can never be too sure as to whether what Felicity says, is really what happened. She likes to put her own spin on certain things and add in some slightly inaccurate details of her own. The acting is also great for her because she loves being in the spotlight. Of course, if she has not been chosen for a lead she often becomes very resentful to whoever was chosen over her. Still, she likes to escape for those hours, become someone entirely different to the person she is. She loves becoming different characters and taking on their lives to the best of her ability. In many ways, she can be called a dreamer for these things, although she would never truly admit that to anyone she knew. -- INSECURE: All of the previously mentioned traits have been leading up to this one. In all honesty, Flick is rather insecure. With all the secrets that are flying around her friendship group, she finds it hard to believe that her friends are not talking about her behind her back and telling her secrets to everyone. She loves her friends, but she can’t help shake that feeling. Despite her having almost everything she has ever wanted and being able to buy whatever she wants, she still does not feel one hundred per cent confident. She is really just like any other teenage girl, insecure about how she looks, how she appears to other people. She often wonders if her parents are even proud of her. Sure, she is not the smartest kid on the block but does that worry them? Are the proud that she wants to be an actress when she grows up? Are they proud of her now? Although Felicity would never admit any of these insecurities, she still has them and they are still there.
-- LOVES: acting, pop music, shopping sprees, new clothes, presents, bracelets, her friends, knowing other people's secrets, dogs, expensive things, being on stage, being the centre of attention, sleep overs, manicures, people of the opposite gender -- HATES: maths, science, breaking up, snakes, loud noises, her secrets being found out, being ditched by friends, anything dark, the news, being told off by a higher authority, thunderstorms, horror movies, cold showers, strict teachers
-- HISTORY !
Felicity’s life began just like any other. In Fort Worth, Texas, she was born to the Saunders family. James and Gwendolyn Saunders were overjoyed to have been gifted with their first child. They had always wished for a girl and now they finally had one. So, they named her Felicity Hope. Felicity quickly gained the nickname Flick from both of her parents who simply adored that nickname. The young girl too adored it and she was always telling people to call her by her nickname as opposed to her real name.
From a young age the girl was used to the absence of her father. Her mother told her that James had a very big job and he had to keep working so that he could afford to buy his favourite daughter lots of beautiful things. Felicity, even at that age, did not argue with the logic of it. In fact, when she was only three years old her father bought her a puppy, so that she would still have someone when he was at work and her mother was busy. Felicity named the dog Liar, simply because it was one of the few words that she really knew.
At the age of four or five, James and Gwen introduced Flick to their good friends and their son who was the same age as her. Felicity, from the very beginning, did not like Jackson. She never justified her reason for not liking him at that age; she just simply did not like him. And it seemed that Jackson was not particularly fond of Felicity either. Still, they were forced to see each other and play together every now and then, a time which they both dreaded equally.
At the age of seven, Felicity was relieved of the pressure to get along with Jackson. Finally, they were moving. James’ work had transferred him to the town of Capeside, Massachusetts. Soon they were settling into their new home. School started there and Felicity liked it very much. Although she was not too fond of the learning part, she made some new and amazing friends. The four girls had hit it off instantly and they all meshed together perfectly. They were fast friends and they told each other everything.
At the age of nine, however, tragedy struck. Liar was hit by a car and could not be saved. Flick’s friends were there for her as she mourned her beautiful dog. They were there for her a few months later too when she received a new dog. This one, she named Secret. The dog was almost always at her side and she was the only one that Flick showed any sort of kindness to, aside from her three best friends of course.
A few years passed by, and soon once again Felicity found herself thrust into another annoying situation. Jackson was back. His family had moved there from Fort Worth too and now the families wanted to get together again. It took weeks of convincing to finally get Felicity to show her face at one of these gatherings. When she did, she once again decided that she did not like the boy. Although he had grown up quite a bit, he was your typical nerd. And of course, Felicity was your typical ‘spoilt rich girl’. They simply were destined not to get along. And yet, their parents keep nudging and nudging, and sooner or later, someone will have to budge.
