-- COCKY: If there is anything Zane Watson is sure of, it's himself. He is confident in his own skin, almost sometimes to the point of narcissism. He can come across as really annoying sometimes because of this. However, you could probably never get him to care whether he's being annoying or not, he doesn't really tend to care if someone doesn't like him because honestly, he likes himself and sometimes that's really the only opinion that truly matters to him. So you'll know if something is really wrong if he admits that even he is angry with himself. But that is indeed a very rare thing in itself. Modesty is not a word in his vocabulary. If he knows he's good at something, he isn't afraid of showing it or talking about it. Though on the other side of the spectrum, if he knows he's terrible at something, he will ignore it and avoid talking about it or doing it as much as he possibly can.

-- RELENTLESS: Zane is like a putbull in three aspects. One, when he sees something he really likes or wants, he has a slight tendency to drool. Two, he's extremely loyal and will do anything to protect the ones he loves. And three?: when he gets his teeth into something, he isn't easily inclined to let it go. He is very, very stubborn and very set in his ways He always has to be the one with the last word in something, and he can be rather cruel about it, as well, when he loses his temper. But when he has a hunch about something, he'll do anything to figure out if he is right. Fearless, he seems to come across as quite often, because he doesn't think things through before he dives right into something and ignores that nagging little thought or conscience that one day he's going to have to pay for his actions.

-- OPEN BOOK: With Zane, what you see is what you get. He doesn't pretend to be someone he isn't. Unless, of course, he's undercover. Then he tends to have a lot of fun pretending to be someone he isn't. But really, the thought to act like a different person around specific people rarely even occurs to him. He isn't ashamed of who he is, and he isn't afraid of being himself. To be honest, that is probably one of his greatest strengths, not being afraid of being himself, though he never really considers that as one of his greatest strengths. Really, he rarely thinks about it at all. Zane hates the thought of people pretending to be someone they aren't just to impress other people. What impresses him is blunt and honest people who aren't afraid of saying or doing what they want or feel, even if the rest of the world is against them.

In the small town of Mackville, Kentucky was Zane Gilbert Watson born twenty five years ago, to Sarah and Lemuel Watson. She was a schoolteacher and he was a farmer, and they had only recently been married for nine months exactly when Zane was born. He was always a vivaciously adventurous child, fearless and reckless- and clumsy, as well. Zane was that kid who would fall over his own bare feet (because shoes are overrated at any age) and do a roll and then jump back up and keep on running. Neither of his parents were anything like this, they were both quiet and rather shy people who were never adventurous their entire lives, they always did things by the books and they never really seemed to worry their parents the way that Zane did. But he didn't entirely make them lose faith in children, because after Zane came two little sisters and then one little brother. Zane was always that almost annoyingly protective brothers who would always threaten his sisters' boyfriends if they ever broke their hearts, though he was never the beefiest or tallest or otherwise scariest, he managed to save them a lot of heartbreak anyway.

High school was actually pretty good for Zane. He was actually a whiz at mathematics, but he almost failed history because he would get so bored he'd just stop listening or not show up. Not because he was altogether a bad kid, just because he had an attention span the size of a gnat. He was pretty well liked by his peers and teachers, even though he was always a little over confident and talked a tad too much sometimes and would get distracted by any little thing. Now, he didn't rule the school by any means, but he was friends with who did and almost everyone else. He never really cared who he was friends with, if it were the highest on the totem pole or the lowest, as long as they were nice enough and had something interesting about them and didn't entirely bore him to tears.

After high school, Zane went to police school and was recruited for the NSA, which stands for National Security Agency. He is still pretty new there, he's still learning, and he's got himself a rather gorgeous handler if he does say so himself, she sort of seems to hate him but that's never stopped him before and he has no intention of letting it slow him down now, either. The move to Massachusetts was a hard one for him, leaving his family like he had to, but it was for a mission and that mission he is still on. He likes his life, generally, though he would like it that much better if his family lived a bit closer, seeing as he's always been a bit of a family man.
