PLOT
Okay, so Freya has never really been a majorly romantic kind of girl. It's not that she doesn't want to be in a relationship- she really does, it just... when she gets into relationships, she kinda... panics, and withdraws into herself. It happens everytime, and she can feel herself doing it, but she just can't seem to stop it happening. And it always ends the same, her withdrawing causes tension, and fights and before too long they break up. Every. Single. Time. Put it this way, her longest relationship was four months. As I said, it's not that she needs a man or a romantic relationship, but she wants one. One that she won't doom from the start.
And, not to be melodramatic here, but part of her right now is just telling her to give up... Put these ideals to one side and focus on her education. Her career. Her life. Worry about romance, and a family later. Logically, she knows this is foolish and unhealthy, but she¡¦s just getting so sick of it. It's really getting her down, and affecting her confidence in a lot of different aspects of her life.
Until she meets him. Now, no it's not a love at first sight story. And no, it¡¦s not a 'she refuses to see him until he eventually wears her down until she falls in love with him'. It¡¦s a gradual progression of the two of them getting to know one another, and their feelings growing until everything just seems right when their together. To them, they are perfect for one another, they challenge each other emotionally, intellectually, physically. And the sex, the sex is amazing. Naturally, their relationship isn't perfect, they are two individuals with thoughts, feelings, and opinions, of course they are going to argue. But the passion when they argue is immense.
There's just one little problem. People can't seem to keep their noses out! Judging their relationship, gossiping, making snide little comments to the couple, laughing behind their back, betting how long it'll last. This could be for a number of reasons, Freya's history of failed relationships, perhaps. Or perhaps there is an age gap, and he is significantly older than her. Or maybe he¡¦s just from 'the wrong side of the tracks' and is all rebellious in contrast to Freya's ever people-pleasing attitude. Maybe he's divorced, has a child, or is her teacher? Or maybe he's from back home and their relationship is mostly going on via telephone and computer. (If we go for him being back home, (I'm pretty such this is an obvious idea but) I'd like him to transfer/move over here so they can be together properally O:) ). Or maybe a mixture, I don't know, we can figure something out =).
But, despite the comments, and the whispers, Freya and.... whoever he is are determined to stay together. Who knows, maybe they are completely in love, maybe they¡¦re fooling themselves, maybe they're just stubborn, but whatever it is, they are determined to make it. At least have a good go at it, and if they break up, then it¡¦ll be very sad but, in Freya's current mindset, it's gonna take a lot. All she knows is that she's never felt this way before, she's actually opened up to him (whoever he may be), and she can't picture her life without him- she doesn't want to picture it!
The story line can start from anywhere really from them meeting, starting to date, or a little while into their relationship. I¡¦m easy =). Just real quick, I¡¦d prefer it if he could be older than Freya (who is twenty, if that¡¦s not too much trouble) thanks.
