-- CURIOUS: Bex is always that one person who insists on going into the creepy broken down abandoned warehouse because she wants to know if there's anything interesting in there or if it's just empty and musky. For those who don't know her very well, it probably seems as though Bex has no fear of anything in the world. But she is afraid of plenty. For instance, if she sees just a drop of blood, her face goes ghost white and she starts shaking ever so slightly. But she tries not to show anything that bothers her, she would much rather be known as adventurous and recklessly brave than some silly little coward who's afraid of blood, which will never be able to hurt her but somehow always manages to terrify her anyway. She asks questions almost impulsively, if something interests her she will try to find out as much about it as she possibly can, and she will doggedly keep learning about it until she can't find new information or simply gets bored of it. But the biggest downside to being as curious as she is, Rebecca is bound to find out about things that she should have never even heard of, things that she'd rather she never knew and wishes she could forget.

-- INSOLENT: Rebecca does not like authority figures. She has never liked authority figures. She never will like authority figures. Someone who has been placed in her life to specifically tell her what to do? No, thank you, she would prefer not. She is a bit impertinent, always a little "better-than-thou" around teachers and such because her father is such a big fund donor to the school and she finds that no one wants to tell the principal because the principal can't do anything about it because if Bex gets suspended or kicked out there goes the funding right along with her. To be honest, Bex would not really care all that much about teachers, if only they would be a tad more respectful to her, she would be a tad more respectful to them, she doesn't go around making them do ridiculous things that she would never do after graduating unless she became a teacher herself (which would obviously never happen). For Bex, respect is earned, not freely given. There is of course a few people who have authority over her who she doesn't completely despise, but there aren't very many.

-- CRYPTIC: If she had the passion for it, Rebecca would be an excellent actress. But acting is Flick's thing. Besides, Bex doesn't want that. All she wants is to get just that- what she wants. She is an exceptional liar, letting people think certain things whether or not they're entirely true. But contrary to popular belief, Bex does indeed have a conscience. She just doesn't seem like it with all that she does. She is very talented at hiding things, whether or not it's her secret, she will usually keep it for you even if you believe that or not. It really just all depends on how much she likes you, or what you can do for her if she decides to keep it for you. Her own secrets are well hidden, though she honestly wants to spill a few of them, she doesn't want to get into as much trouble as she knows she would if she ever told.

Rebecca Beatrice Wilder was the third and last born in the Wilder family, after one brother and one sister, thus undeniably making her the youngest and the most spoiled. She always got everything what she wanted, and she wanted most everything. Jeremy and Jane Wilder were and still are some of the richest and most influential people in all of Capeside, and they never let anyone forget it, not even their kids. He was a big time business company owner, she was head of a law firm. They had it all, it seemed. The family wasn't exactly known for its togetherness, more for getting together as a family only on special occasions, never really a "family". More like a bunch of people who lived together and were usually rather civil to each other. Bex and her siblings before her were all raised by nannies, who usually didn't stick around past their first paychecks. And Bex was used to this, she never had someone stick around in her life for an extended time. She didn't exactly enjoy it, but she was very used to it. And instead of behaving so people would stick around longer, Bex just got angry, and fought it even worse.

There was only one nanny who stayed from the time that she was ten to the time she was fourteen, when her parents decided that she was now too old for a nanny, who she referred to as Nanny Eden. Nanny Eden was her favorite person in the world. She wasn't weak like most of her nannies, she wasn't afraid of her, she didn't treat her like a baby, she respected Bex, and Bex respected her as well. She was furious when her parents decided to fire her favorite nanny without even consulting her, and she didn't even get to say goodbye because Nanny Eden moved back to Pennsylvania to be with her family. It was probably a very childish reason to hold a grudge against her parents, but it was something she never fully forgave them for.

It was only last year that Rebecca learned of her father's secret. It was by pure chance that she overheard his conversation with his secretary, that he had been embezzling funds from his clients to cover up his gambling debts that he had used the company funds for. He hadn't been aware that Rebecca had been in the next room, he didn't even know she was home, until she made her presence known and had insisted on knowing everything. Now she is basically blackmailing her own father, the reason that she hasn't told anyone is because if anyone finds out and turns him in, she would lose everything she has, too, including the respect of her peers. And without that, Bex wouldn't know who she was anymore.
