I thought a would be a fun way to kick of the site would be with a little competition I like to call 'SUPER MEGA AWESOME COMP'
The aim is really simple. Basically it’s about accumulating points, and the person with the most points at the end will be the winner. However prizes will be given out to more than just the winner, so it’s worth joining. It’s really just about having some fun to be honest. And to help everyone get started on the site. Points will be awarded in two sections; OOC and Posting. OOC is about advertising, plotting and getting to know members and posting, is well about posting.
The people with the highest three OOC scores will win
» A “OOC PWNAGE” badge permanently attached to one of your mini profiles
The people the highest three POST scores will win
» A “POST WHORE” badge permanently attached to one of your mini profiles
The over-all winner will get to choose two of the following prizes
» A four piece, matching signature and avatar set
» A congratulations message in the side bar
» Instant nomination for Member of the Month
» A board of your choosing named after you. It can be a school building, a bar, a café.. anything you like.
» A “POST WHORE” badge permanently attached to one of your mini profiles
» A “OOC PWNAGE” badge permanently attached to one of your mini profiles
Rules
» You must provide links as proof. Do not cheat, we will be counting your points.
» Don’t post thread after thread if you don’t actually have the time to reply to it in the long-run. It’s not fair
» Please don’t post complete crap. Each post must be the standard we require as per the rules
» Only posts dated from today will count
» You may only include 5 hidden words/phrases/references in each post, and they must make sense
» References must actually be references, merely mentioning the word ‘glee’ isn’t a reference, however quoting the show, or something to do with the show is
» You may only post 5 adverts a day on other sites. We do not want the site over-run by adverts
» Only your first reply to a plot page/welcome thread will count as points
» Please follow all the rules of any sites or forums you are posting our link on
» You may not also use hidden words and phrases as a reference unless you expand on it
» Make sure you separate your OOC and POST points, as well as a total
You may use all your characters towards this. This many not sound fair at first, but given that a person with three characters is still only human and can only generate so many posts a day, it would be less fair to let them only use one character
Points
The points are a little complicated, so please read them carefully. I know word count isn’t the be all in literacy, but we needed some diversity in points, and it’s a little hard to rate on a creativity scale, remember though, if you post 1000 words, it has to be a good post. If the person who must reply complains it’s full of useless fluff and cannot reply, or I think it’s fluffed up, you will be docked points.

5 pnts » for each post in a communications thread
10 pnts » for each IC post between 350 and 400 words
15 pnts » for each IC post between 400 and 700 words
20 pnts » for each post between 700 and 1000 words
30 pnts » for each post over 1000 words

(you get these as well as post count points)
30 pnts » if your post includes the word ‘copperboom!’
20 pnts » if your post includes the words 'don’t harsh my mellow'
30 pnts » if your post includes the words 'sunshine twins on uppers'

» 10 points for putting our link and/or banner in your signature of another site (generally this will be a none roleplay site…like a directory or something), please offer a screen cap as proof of this.
» 50 points for adding our add or our link to an advertising site, or roleplay directory. If we are required to show their button, please contact an admin and have that put up first. (again, offer a proof link)
» 20 points if your name appears in the “how you found us” section of an application
» 5 points on top of those points if they get accepted.
» 20 points if you post a MEET THE PERSON thread
» 10 points if you post a reply in a MEET THE PERSON thread
» 10 points if you add in your reply bellow a member testimonial I can add to our advertisements
» 5 points for posting in any plot page(offer proof link)
