They had to be joking. Who in their right minds took a proposal like that seriously? Not to mention how young the two of them were and just how much Wyatt wanted to lay into Luca for being such an idiot. Beth wasn’t getting married any time soon. Wyatt would make sure of that. How long had the two of them been in a relationship anyway? A week? Two? Had they even gone on their first date yet or had their first kiss? Wyatt loved his sister and usually believed she could do no wrong but to accept a proposal online in the midst of people making fun of her? It was childish and, if he were being honest, it was just stupid. Did either of them know what a marriage really was? To even think the thought made his stomach turn but Wyatt knew Beth didn’t have any personal examples of a healthy marriage. Their parents marriage suffered from their mother’s depression and it wasn’t as if their father had done much dating in the handful of years since she died.
So he sat, straight backed with his arms crossed over his chest, and he waited. He’d asked both Beth and Luca to come to the Tanner’s family room. Not that it was an odd thing, they often called each other here to hang out and the like but today Wyatt had different intentions. Today Wyatt was going to tell those two just how he felt.
