[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,300] OUTFIT | OPEN | BLAHH Passion Peak. Practically the biggest make out spot in Capeside. Avery really wasn't certain how pathetic you'd have to be to go alone, but she was certainly pathetic enough as it were. So going alone to Passion Peak was basically just proving it to herself. Nobody else was there, she was just sitting by the cliff, staring down at the caves. She didn't really feel like doing anything today. She was tired, and she didn't know why. Probably because she was wearing herself ragged with all of the soccer she had been playing as of recent. But she didn't know for certain. She sighed as she sat there in silence, and leaned forward to put her chin on her palms with a slight frown. Silence wasn't something Avery often enjoyed. Now was not an exception. Which, was why she was pulling her iPod out of her pocket and putting some music on shuffle, skipping around until she found a song she actually wanted to listen to: Next To You by Charlie Puth. Mostly, to keep her mind off of her parental problems, Ave was thinking less about her problems and more about the story that came along with Passion Peak, about the lovers who jumped to their deaths. She was almost sure it was fictional, and she knew it was probably supposed to be romantic, but Avery never really saw the romance in killing yourself. Romeo and Juliet- what was up with that? Avery would never kill herself over a guy. Men were too stupid to kill yourself over, really. She just didn't get it. Sure, romance was about love and passion and all that crap, but come on. Avery loved and had a passion for music and soccer, she wouldn't kill herself over them. But Avery really was not the person you should come to in need of love. She was probably one of the least romantic people you might ever meet. She was really pretty easy to please. Give her some chocolate, maybe a flower or two, and she was pretty much good. Ave sighed softly and tilted her head to the side, still wondering what it would be like to love someone enough to kill herself. She was rather positive that no one would do that for her. She couldn't really quite tell how pathetic that really was. |
