[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,300] OUTFIT | OPEN | RAH RAH AH AH AH Kat rarely got out of her apartment without company. This was one of the few times for an exception. Of course, her roommate, Jared, was fast asleep at this moment and she had to sneak out, but, still. It wasn't that she didn't like having him around or anything, but it was kind of annoying after a while. She didn't like leaving him alone, either, at the same time. But really, Kat was a naturally very solitary person. She wasn't used to having people around who weren't related to her. They she could tell to back off and leave her alone, it was considered rude when she said it to anyone else. Jared never seemed to mind, though, he was far too laid back to ever care, even when he had all of his memory. Katarina was under a lot of stress with this whole thing, honestly. She would never let it show, but she was tearing at the seams and everything felt like it was her responsibility, her fault. It was all incredibly hard to deal with, and sometimes, she just needed an escape route. She had managed to get out of the apartment without waking him up, either that or he had just let her go without questioning her. Which she appreciated, if he was indeed awake. It was, of course, drizzling, the one day she got to herself. Oh well. At least Katarina liked the rain, she supposed. And at least she'd thought to grab a coat to throw over her bare shoulders as she trudged out in the rain, pausing for a moment and staring up at the sky. Kat realized that she probably seemed absolutely stupid just standing there, but she didn't really care right now. She deserved a little serenity, as long as there wasn't any lightning, she was just fine. Her head tilted back down and looked out at the traffic past the apartments, and then she kept walking, sighing softly to herself. She had hardly left the apartment complex by the time it started raining harder. When she noticed that, she frowned, and quickened her pace until she made it to a little coffee shop at the corner of the street, where she entered. She ran a hand through her dark damp hair, as she ordered herself a cup of black coffee, which she took to a chair and sat down, enjoying the aloneness as it lasted. |
