-- HOT-HEADED. While he’s worked hard to keep it under control, Marco can be a tad temperamental. He may seem laid back and casual, but if something ticks him off he can explode without a warning. It’s not the most ideal trait for someone, but there isn’t a lot he can do about it. It results in a lot of heated fights between him and his wife, and also many other people in his life. He’s not exactly a gracious loser, which makes him unbearable to be around at times when he’s had a fight with someone. The one thing to his credit, is at least his anger never manifests itself in violence, just words.

-- ROCK STAR. Marco has what some people like to refer to as ‘Peter Pan’ syndrome. He never really grew up. He still likes to play video games, and talks like a teenager. The idea of ‘growing up’ isn’t one he cares for. That’s probably why he became a teacher, because he felt it was a job he could stay in touch with his youth.. Or something. Truth is, he still thinks it’s okay to act like a rock-star and call his students ‘dude’. While his wife and child don’t go without anything, his childish attitude can be rather frustrating to deal with.

-- TEASE. Marco is ever the playful man. He likes to joke and tease, sometimes at other people’s expense. However his intentions are never malicious. It’s just, sometimes he doesn’t realise that he’s crossed a line and actually said something rather mean and offensive. It’s hard to tell him when his teasing was too much, since he’ll just brush it off and claim that the other person is being far too sensitive.

-- KIND. Despite on the fact he doesn’t know when a joke is too much, Marco is actually a rather kind person. He doesn’t like to see other people in a bad way, and often likes to surprise those he cares about with nice gestures. And truth be told, he’s passionate about his students. He actually wants to see them do well, and cares about their well-being. He’s the sort of guy who you know you can rely on to just be there and help you out.

Born in Pittsburgh, Marco grew up a happy kid. He was an only child and grew up in a middle-class family. They didn’t have a lot, but they had enough. From a fairly young age, Marco found he loved music. He and his father would go on long car-trips. Playing anything from the Beatles, to the newer stuff (of the time of course). Born in the seventies, and growing into his teens in the eighties, it was no surprise that it was the rock music from that era that had the strongest affect on him. In fact, he was so entranced by music that for his sixteenth birthday he begged his parents for an electric guitar. It cost them a bit, but his parents obliged.

It was that very same guitar that he packed up in the back of his rusty car, and drove to New-York after high school. While his parents assumed it was to attend college, Marco had bigger dreams. Yes, he was going to NYU, but he was also far more interested in the music scene. Half way through his freshman year, he joined a band as the lead singer. While they worked hard to get their name out, it wasn’t until he had conveniently finished college that they started to take off. A few years after he’d finished college, the band got signed and they actually seemed like they were going somewhere. Like all the crappy gigs and self promotion was paying off.

It was after their first CD was recorded and they were on their very low budget tour that things started to go wrong for the band. Marco found himself growing rather fond of the Drummers girlfriend. So fond, in fact, that they started sleeping together. It was kept a secret for a while, but it got to the point where everyone except the drummer knew. When he found out, it wasn’t only the end of a relationship, it was the end of the band. Marco got the girl though, and married her. They lived the beginning of their marriage in New-York, Marco trying to find a new band. However when his wife fell pregnant, they decided to move from New York to Capeside- where she was from. In NY, Marco had been part time teaching, so it seemed natural he’d get a full-time job now he had his baby to support.

Now he works at Capeside High as a Math teacher, his daughter is five and he and his wife are coming on to their tenth wedding anniversary, and she’s a few months pregnant with their second child.
