-- MILA JANE HONEYCUTT !
-- NAME: Mila Jane Honeycutt -- NICKNAMES: Milly (most common), Mills, Honeypie -- AGE & BIRTHDAY: 12 & November 19 -- BIRTH PLACE: Capeside -- ORIENTATION: Straight -- OCCUPATION & SCHOOL GRADE: Junior High, 7th Grade Student -- PLAYED BY: Peyton List
-- PERSONALITY !
-- TALKATIVE: Milly, when she isn't miserable when suffering from leukiemia, is actually very talkative. She's also rather bubbly, and she can always talk someone's ear off. Milly is typically the person to lead the conversation, and for most kids, that's fine by them. Her talkative, bubbly, upbeat nature gains her many friends, and for a girl who didn't have much friends until she was nine, this makes her a very happy person. -- SECRETIVE: For the happy, bubbly girl she seems to be, Milly can be quite secretive. She's rather good at keeping secrets herself, and currently keeps tons of secrets to herself, keeping them hidden deep inside of her where nobody can find them. There's smaller ones, like the fact that she has a crush on her friend Trevor, and that she hates mint chocolate chip ice cream. Then there's the bigger ones, like how she's hiding the recent symptoms, that she feels like a burden, and that she'd rather die than go through chemo again. For a young, bubbly girl, Milly has tons of secrets. -- AMBITIOUS: This girl has a lot of ambition in her, which is good. How would you get anywhere without ambition, after all? She wants to get Trevor to be more than friends with her, become the greatest photographer in the world, open up her own photography studio in Capeside, help her little town of Capeside become greener, and find a cure for cancer. Oh, and never get of remission, too. Those are a lot of goals, some of them seem almost impossible, but Milly is definitely going to try. Nothing is going to get in her way. -- DETERMINED: With Milly's ambition comes her determination. Milly's sense of determination is admirable. It certainly gets her homework done early, anyway. While Milly's very ambitious, anybody can be ambitious. It's her determination that gets those dreams a reality, the thing that never lets her give up even when it seems that there's zero chance of her goal ever happening. Sometimes her determination can be considered as stubbornness, but who ever said that those were both bad things? -- TOUGH: Maybe it's because she has two older brothers, the fact that she had to go through leukemia or chemo, the fact that she has gone to six funerals, or some other reason, but Milly is definitely one tough girl. She isn't one of those crying, clingy girls. She moves on, and goes with the flow. Nothing really fazes her... except for maybe the fact that she might have to have another battle with leukemia again.
-- LOVES: photography, going/being green, her family, her freinds, trevor, baking, reading, school, being in remission, leukemia camp, animals -- HATES: leukemia, hospitals, needles, chemo, losing her hair, death, spiders, sad stories, the dark, being an attention hog, being a burden on her family
-- HISTORY !
Mila Jane Honeycutt (or, as everybody calls her, Milly) was born in the early morning of November 19, 1999. Her mother, Heidi Honeycutt, had gone into labor the previous night, and Milly's birth was one of those unusually long ones. But eventually Milly was out of her mother's body and taking her first breath. She already had two brothers, Spencer and Samson, and an older sister, Ruby, and Milly was their last child, which was planned with or without her leukemia. And sadly, catching all of the Honeycutts by surprise, Milly wasn't healthy like her siblings. She was far from healthy, in fact. Milly was born with leukemia, a.k.a. blood cancer.
From the start, Milly's life was filled with visits to the hospital, needles and various treatments so she could overcome her cancer. Of course, Milly's parents were doing everything possible to make sure their little girl would eventually become healthy and well, and would lead a normal life. That didn't exactly happen, though. Eventually, Milly's cancer got so bad that the only option for her was a bone marrow transplant. She and Ruby were matches, and Ruby decided to be a donar for her sister. And the bone marrow transplant did help, for a couple of years. During those couple of years, Milly was in remission. Even though Milly can't remember it, those years were probably the best years of her life. And then, at the age of five, the cancer came back again.
This time, Milly got chemo, which Milly detests greatly. She felt terrible most of the time because of its side-affects, she got sick more easily, and she lost all of her beautiful blond locks of hair. She never had a true childhood, because it was full of just feeling ill and throwing up in the hospital. Since her immune system was weakened due to her chemo treatment, she got infections more easily. She never had any friends besides her siblings and the nurses who took care for her, which made her extremely sad and lonely. She hated every bit of her cancer, and she swore that if she ever survived it and went into remission again, she'd never visit the hospital again. And eventually, Milly did go back into remission, when she was nine. Because of her immune system, Milly had to be home-schooled for a year until it got stronger. But she did go to a camp for kids like her, who had leukemia, and she made her first true friends there. Milly still kept in touch with her friends when they weren't at camp.
She's now in the public school system here at Capeside. Now, at twelve, Milly is still in remission, but some of her friends from the camp weren't as lucky. Milly lost her first friend to leukemia when she was ten, and of course attended the funeral. Since then she has lost six other friends to cancer, and has attended five more funerals. She misses them all dearly, but throws herself into trying to make Capeside greener and photography to keep herself going. She tries her best in school, and she has made a few normal friends besides her leukemia friends. She even has her first crush, who is one of her friends and a cute kid in her grade named Trevor. But, as if to ruin her life, Milly is showing signs that her time in remission will be coming to can end. She's hiding it from her family, because she is tired of chemo and hospitals, she doesn't want to lose her hair, and doesn't want to be the Official Family Burden anymore. She also hates being, 'that little girl with leukemia'. She just wants to be normal.
-- SAMPLE !
Lily had managed to escape from Jeffrey again. Woot! It was amazing how Lily had a knack of escaping her creator's clutches. Of course, then Emily and Tyson would be stuck with Jeffrey's company. Lily didn't know Tyson that well. In fact, Lily had only seen Jeffrey's only male newborn once, and had never talked to him at all. Lily wondered why that was. Maybe he was the most obedient of Jeffrey's newborns? Lily wasn't sure what was going on with that guy. However, Lily did know Emily well. She was a troublemaker newborn, just like Lily, and Emily was like a little sister to Lily. Sometimes Emily was annoying, yet she was loveable sometimes too. She felt sorry for Emily, because Jeffrey's company was definitely not desired by Emily. They both shared a mutual dislike for their creator. But ever since Lily had met Harry, Jess's accidental newborn, she was feeling some sympathy for Jeffrey. One newborn, especially one like Harry, was a handful. To be able to manage three of them, two of them being rebellious, was definitely somewhat admireable. While Jeffrey didn't completely have Lily's love, he had some respect from her.
Thinking of Emily, Lily caught her scent, very fresh, indicating that it was from today, towards her right. Curious, Lily followed the scent until she found Emily's scent inside a house. Did Emily kill anymore people whose disappearances would be missed? Last time that happened, when Emily killed and drained a teenage girl named Daniella, her boyfriend, a wolf shapeshifter who went by the name of Alex Hardie, had began to hunt Emily down. Lily had the misfortune of coming across Alex when he was in the middle of hunting down Emily, and the two had to fight. Then a teenage girl somehow managed to get into the fight, cut herself on some glass, and began to bleed. Being a newborn, Lily was immediately distraccted. Millimeters away from the girl's throat, Alex had slammed into both Lily and the girl, trying to save the other girl and prevent another Daniella incident. Yet by doing so, the girl had been slammed into a wall and was killed. So, ironically, it was Alex's fault, not Lily's, that the girl was dead. Also in the fight, Alex had ripped of one of Lily's arms. Remembering the pain, Lily winced. She had managed to locate her arm and reglued it with venom while Jess had taken over the fight, but there was now a scar in between the shoulder blade and the arm.
Focusing her mind back onto Emily, Lily entered the house. Once Lily had entered the house, Emily immediately reassured her that the owners were on vacation, not dead and drained by Emily. "Well, that's good," Lily said. "How did you know they were on vacation, anyway?" Lily asked, a tad of curiosity in her voice. Knowing how would be useful, just in case Lily wanted to do the same. Lying down on the couch, Lily watched Emily do her exercises. Then, Emily had walked over to the fridge. Lily just had to follow her, curious as to way Emily would bother with the fridge, since vampires couldn't eat food. Lily's draw dropped at the contents. It was little packets of blood, the type that you got in the blood banks. "How did you get all that?..." Lily wondered outloud. "That's so cool!" Lily just had to say. Now she wouldn't have to feel the guilt of killing and draining the humans, even though Lily didn't feel guilty while draining the humans. Immediately, Lily snatched a packet of blood, labelled O Negative, which smelled a little better than the others. "That one's mine!" Lily exclaimed.
