-- AVERY ELISABETH CARTER !
-- NAME: Avery Elisabeth Carter. -- NICKNAMES: Ave, Ry. -- AGE & BIRTHDAY: Seventeen, August 10th. -- BIRTH PLACE: Capeside. -- ORIENTATION: Heterosexual. -- OCCUPATION & SCHOOL GRADE: Junior & waitress. -- PLAYED BY: Bridgit Mendler.
-- PERSONALITY !
-- RESTLESS: The thought of her mother getting married again, and to someone like Diaz, on top of that, drives Avery insane. Restless, sleepless, anxious, all hot and bothered. See, when Avery gets restless, she gets reckless. She acts out. A lot. She bends rules. Sometimes, more than often, actually, even breaks them. She does it not only to get her mom's attention- but her dad's, too, hoping he'll realize that she still needs him, and that he'll come back for the both of them. But that hasn't quite happened yet. And with a sinking heart, she's realizing that it's not going to happen at all. Not that this stops her from rebelling, it only fuels her restlessness and her anger. So she does whatever she can to get back at her parents, both of whom she is furious with. Her mother, for not bothering to involve her in her life at all, her father, for abandoning her without even looking back, not even a goodbye to his credit.
-- MANIPULATIVE: Don't let her pretty, round little cherubic face fool you. Behind her angel eyes, Avery Carter is a conniving little fiend. She knows that she is cute and innocent looking, and she uses that to her advantage. No one expects someone with such a charming smile to posess the mind that Avery does. She may only be seventeen, but she is smart. Smart enough to know what she wants, what she can have and what she can't. Unfortunately, the latter list is far more lengthy than the former. Don't get me wrong, she has practically all that she needs and other than the father leaving her and mother conveniently "forgetting" to fill her in on her love life until the last moment, she doesn't have much to complain about. But good luck telling the teenage girl with anger issues, that.
-- LONELY: Now, don't get me wrong, Avery is not evil, not even close. She's just angry, sad, and mostly, alone. Acting out is just the only way she knows to get any attention. Deep down, all she is is a typical, sweet girl. But you'd have to catch her on a very good day to see this sweet little girl, because otherwise all you'll see is a blank expression or a devious grin rather than a sweet smile. She isn't really someone who has a lot of luck making friends because she doesn't usually try hard enough, the thought of being friendly rarely even crosses her mind, to be honest. She is a sweet girl, she just doesn't think things through completely. Or.. Usually, at all, unfortunately.
-- LOVES: Loopholes, soccer, boys, getting her way, attention, accents, money, wittiness, activities. snow, hot chocolate, reading. -- HATES: Being ignored, being bored, dumb people, boring people, her parents divorce, her parents, being left out, being lonely, weaknesses,
-- HISTORY !
Marisol and Zachariah Carter were never exactly the happiest couple. They fought almost constantly, but at the end of the day, they still loved each other, and they thought they could work through it. However, it wasn't until fourteen years after they were married and had Avery Elisabeth, that they finally split. Well, Zachariah left them, anyway. Marisol and Avery didn't actually have a choice. Of course, they were devastated. Mostly Avery, because Marisol had been expecting it for years, though the both of them left Avery out in the dark about it, and when she found out about it, she was not at all appreciative, though you can't really blame her. This was about the time that she began to hate her parents, for not trying hard enough, for not caring about her enough to tell her about it, when obviously it affected her as much as the both of them. Sure, she knew that they fought, she witnessed it constantly, but she didn't think that they would actually get divorced, not without even discussing it with her. She was as much a part of the family as they were. Most of her rage was directed to her father, for leaving them, but a good portion was at her mother as well, for just letting him go. The first stage she went through in dealing with this seperation was pushing them away, and this went on for almost a year, her not speaking to them at all, just glares and the full on silent treatment. The second stage was neediness, she tried to pull them together with tears and to force them to get back together, and then when that didn't work, she gave up. She's decided that it's better just to do what ever she wants to do, obviously they don't care what she does, and it's time for her to test her boundaries, see how far she can make them bend. Now, the fact that her mother's getting married again is just even worse for her, to be honest. However, otherwise, there hasn't really been anything major to ever happen to Avery.

hey, most everything here looks good, but there's just one thing. seventeen is too young to be a bartender. eighteen is the minimum age in MA, according to THIS site.
