-- TRISTAN NICHOLAS HEARTLY !
-- NAME: tristan nicholas heartly -- NICKNAMES: trissy, trislano -- AGE & BIRTHDAY: july 12, nineteen years old -- BIRTH PLACE: london, england -- ORIENTATION: pansexual -- OCCUPATION & SCHOOL GRADE: university student -- PLAYED BY: louis tomlinson
-- PERSONALITY !
-- MUSICAL: Tristan loves to sing and create art. Even at a young age it was apparent the guy was out to conquer the world with his voice and guitar skills. It's not that he likes to sing, no Tristan is actually good at it. He's practiced his whole to one day go to Hollywood and sign a record contract and make music for the masses. It all started at his sister's fifth birthday, when Tristan decided to blurt out lines from Footloose (he was seven at the time) and the adults were astounded with how good he sounded. Later Tristan's mom decided to even further push her sun by cleverly complimenting on him on his singing, eventually leading to Tristan becoming confident enough to practice at home. That lead to school talent shows and eventually winning the show three times in a row (he sang his renditions of I Will Always Love You, What's Left Of Me and Forever). When he applied for university, Tristan took English literature and law, as it was easier to fall back on something than to risk it all and gain a lot. His dream centers around going to a concert and getting discovered-something that's yet to happen. Tristan also dabbles a bit in art and writing, but only on occasions.
-- LOVELESS: No, not the Final Fantasy organization. But Tristan doesn't have the capability to start a normal relationship with anyone. Romance goes as far as flirting and taking someone to the prom. The problem doesn't lie in that Tristan is unromantic, no, he can be very romantic if he wants to be. It's just he feels that he hasn't quite found what he's looking for yet. Life is so busy anyway, who has time for romance? If friends tried to hook him up or something he'd probably reject them all and leave his date hanging. Don't try romances with this guy. Wait for him to come to you ok? Love is built on mutual feelings, not commensalism or parasitism. Tristan can pretty much guarantee whoever he ends up falling in love with will not regret picking him. He's a sweetheart if he wants, it's just that he never really actually wants.
-- LOVE, ERR, FAMILY ON TOP!: Har har, Beyonce rules. Anyway Tristan may not be romancing anybody in the near future, but one thing he does care about is his friends and family, and they're the ones he would sacrifice himself for. When it comes to choosing friends, Tristan picks very carefully. Yeah, there's the normal hangout buddies, but close friends are hard to come by. Most of the time Tristan is closest to his family and considers them to be his best friends. He tends to confide everything in those people so it's important for him to pick the right ones. And of course, in a most theoretical way, he does love his family. I mean, who else is he going to spend his Christmas mornings with? On a side note, best friends are considered family to Tristan, so nobody is left out of his love circle!
-- LOVES: teddy bears, carnivals, costumes, bright lights, candyland, beanbag chairs, cucumbers, California rolls, mango, fruit punch, ice Popsicles, snow cones -- HATES: dark paintings, math, reality tv, rock music, rocky beaches, coral, wasabi, grape juice, monsters, mothballs, spiders, cheap mechanical pencils, hearsay, politics, football, people who do poor English accents
-- HISTORY !
Tristan's life was mostly very boring. When he was younger, it was his sister that got most of the attention. Around age seven, Tristan began to sing (see above) and his mother enrolled both her kids in a Catholic school to foster their talents. Unfortunately for Tristan all that got him was learning that nuns were mean and horrid and Catholic school students were brutal when it came to studying for their algebra tests. At the age of ten, Tristan convinced his mother to move him out of the school and send him to the community's public school. There he became close to the music teacher who was the source of vocal inspiration for Tristan for many years.
When he started Grade 7, Tristan was already in a state of singing in his bedrooms and the shower. While neither of his parents were as musically inclined, Tristan found out his Grandmother on his mom's side had once been a Vegas showgirl and his Grandfather a Broadway actor (guess how the old couple met?). Fueling his desperation to become a famous singer, Tristan attended the school's talent show. The first year was a bummer though, with him ending up in the seventh place, losing to kids from higher grades. Things turned around in the second year when he begged his sister to ring a duet with him and the two performed Broken Strings. This landed him the third spot and really ignited his confidence. Afterwards Tristan made it his priority to focus on his voice and writing songs, rather than studying for Science and Math.
By the time he graduated from the school and moved to Capeside to attend the prestigious Capeside University, Tristan had laid out most of his career. He was going to major in literature and use it as a standing to earn money to go to Hollywood. There he as going to travel around singing in clubs until P.Diddy or someone noticed him and signed him onto a label. If that dream fell out (and Tristan knows it won't because it's obviously failproof), then he was going to study up and become a lawyer. Not as exciting of course, but at least it would pay the bills. The only problem was becoming a lawyer took twenty or so years, and Tristan doesn't think he has the patience to study that long, and nor does he have the money.
But first, University. The present is before the future, or some other logic like that. Tristan likes to think his years as a high school grad will be at least somewhat exciting. Hopefully there would be talent shows held or something.
-- SAMPLE !
The first thing that ran through Louis Hart's mind was that his agent would be pissed of if he returned with a permanent scar on his face. Talk about his career being over before it even started. The crash itself wasn't what that worried him, he had seen a fair share of terrible things back in Miami, and this was only a few rankings higher than those. The problem was that he was alive, and he didn't know where anyone else was. When boarding the plane Louis had taken a lone seat near the back, finding it better to sit alone than to mingle with strange kids who all looked rich and confident. The downside to that was he know lay by himself, on top of the life vest underneath his seat while the plane burned to pieces twenty feet away from him. The crash had flung him and the safety equipment he tried to grab outside the body of the aircraft. The sudden impact made him feel like he had shattered his ribs and broken his skull. Luckily though, feeling seemed to remain in all parts of his body, probably saved by the cushioning life vest.
Groaning and pulling himself up, Louis attempted to scan the situation. The scene looked like it was from a Tom Cruise movie. Most of the plane was littered around in the sand, and the tail he originally sat at was almost completely obliterated. Smoke and fire were everywhere and he could see that the pilot hadn't gone down without a fight, as it looked like the plane was trying to land feet first. Two large wheels and a rotary fan lay beside Louis. Any closer and the things would have crushed him underneath.
The scariest thing of all though, was that Louis couldn't see or even hear anybody. The two who sat in front of him were nowhere near him and the burning flames blocked all sounds coming from the inside. The body (or what was left of it) hid the scene that was on the other side, but Louis imagined it would be a lot worse than where he was. The beach they had landed on was made up of fine and coarse sand, and it didn't help cushion the crash at all. Louis considered getting up and looking for people, but he wasn't sure how to even begin.
Biting his lip, the nineteen year old grabbed onto a piece of metal and used it to pull himself up. The tail of the plane was starting to look hazardous, as the fire now burned through the safety exit door that he had flung out of. Louis was too scared to go and pry it open, not because he was worried about seeing dead bodies but because the fire would probably burn all his skin off if he came into heavy contact with it. The idea brought on a whole different side of "Never play with fire", the famous quote donned by mothers everywhere. Biting his lips and blinking furiously to clear the smoke from his eyes, Louis began to walk around the aircraft, doing his best to peek into the windows that remained intact. People could still be in them, unconscious and oblivious to the danger that was quickly engulfing the plane. The smoke made it difficult to see though and Louis eventually gave up, changing his course towards the mass of black things further in on the beach. He imagined at least one of those things were human, and that most or even all of the people had managed to get out in time. If they didn't....
Taking one look back at the smoldering aircraft, Louis began to walk slowly towards the nearest thing he saw, his guitar that had somehow survived and kept it's original shape. The doubted any of the string remained intact but the varnish seemed to have kept the flames away from the wood. There seemed to be a hole in the back through, but Louis couldn't really tell from where he was, especially not with him having to wipe smoky tears from his eyes every thirty seconds.
