you might have heard I run with a dangerous crowd... we might be laughing a bit too loud oh but that never hurt no one

It all began on September day, on the first day of fifth grade... 

A brunette girl looked up from the hopscotch game she'd been lazily observing to see two boys on the basket ball court, shooting hoops. Her green eyes brightened, and she pushed herself up and walked over. 

"Hey."

The boys paused. One was brunette and one was blonde, both new to the school. They appraised the barely-four-foot-tall girl in front of them, confused. "Hi..." the brunette said.

"Can I play?"

The blonde laughed. "A little thing like you?"

"Come on let me play."

"You're a girl." - this was said as though being a girl was the worst thing in the world

"Are you afraid to loose to a girl?"

Both of them scoffed. "No. Because we're not going to loose."

"Then play me."

The blonde boy shrugged and tossed her the ball. "Fine. We'll do one on one."

The girl laughed. "Nah, I'll take you both on."

Twenty minutes later, all three were sweating and tired when the bell rang. The kids dropped the ball and leaned over, clutching their sides.

"That... Was a good game. You can play." the brunette boy said at last.

"I know." the girl smirked.

"I'm Dex. This is Jackson." the brunete said.

"TJ."

"Isn't TJ a boy's name?" Jackson mused.

"I don't know. My name's TJ, and last time I checked, I was a girl. So what do you think?" she said, a hint of anger to her tone.

"I'm just saying it sounds like the name a dude would have..." 

TJ wound up and slugged him in the gut, before turning and flouncing away.

PLOT

The above was the legendary meeting of TJ, "Dex", and "Jackson". The three (including Dallas her twin brother if his creator wants) were a tight knit group for the rest of their school years, continuing up to college. They were the scourge of the school and loved pranking, causing trouble, playing sports, and general mischief. And now they're all grown up.

Now the group is slowly drifting apart. "Dex" and "Jackson", who have always been best friends, are into different things. "Dex" is delving into troubling areas, most of the time even illegal things, while "Jackson" is hard at work studying. TJ is the glue keeping them together. Should Dallas be in the crew, he to would most likely be with "Dex", pursuing dangerous thrills. Meanwhile, "Jackson" fights a crush he's held for a long time on TJ and TJ struggles to decide what is better - fun or safety, true friendship or popularity, and if thrills are really worth risking everything.

Obviously "Jackson" and "Dex" have a lot of depth to them that I haven't gone into here, which would be up to you to build. The group dynamic would be slightly complex and verging on a love triangle, although "Dex" only starts wanting TJ because "Jackson" does. In terms of age they should be in college already, either freshmen or sophomores. Names can be changed if you'd like. For "Jackson" playbys I was thinking either Lucas Till, who I adore, Kellan Lutz, or maybe Logan Lerman, but if you can come up with others feel free. "Dex" could be Taylor Lautner, Colton Haynes, Ed Westwick, or anyone your heart desires. Please just run playbys by me first.
