-- ANDREW WYATT TAYLOR !
-- NAME: Andrew Wyatt Taylor -- NICKNAMES: Andy, Drew, Giraffe -- AGE & BIRTHDAY: Twenty, December 12th -- BIRTH PLACE: Stillwater, OK -- ORIENTATION: Heterosexual -- OCCUPATION & SCHOOL GRADE: waiter, aspiring musician -- PLAYED BY: Cory Monteith
-- PERSONALITY !
-- AWKWARD: Andrew is somewhat of an oddball. He has a strange sense of humor, and often laughs at his own jokes. He grew very quickly, and didn't really have much time to adjust to how tall he was. Because of this, Andy is very clumsy and that just adds to his awkwardness. He was raised on a farm and often spent time alone cleaning the stables and feeding the animals. Instead of having tons of human friends, he would spend more time with the farm animals. Anyone walking by the barn would hear Andy playing his guitar and singing to the horses and the farm dog, just because he was too nervous to play in front of others, which could be problematic with his aspirations of being a country star. Andy is an avid fan of musicals and was often the only boy in the theater who actually wanted to be there. -- SWEET: Even though he was sometimes made fun of by others for his clumsiness and expert manners, Andy was never really mad. He would sit in his mom's kitchen , watch her cook, and vent to her. His mother would tell him that Jesus died for their sins, and that Andy should love everyone no matter how mean they were. It was these kind words from his mother that would have him smile and others who were mean instead of fight back and eventually people grew to like him and his sweet nature. His family calls him a gentle giant because he could never heart anyone, and no one could argue with that title. He would help anyone who needed it and loved to play with his young cousins and sing to them. You will definitely see Andy being a family man in the future. -- COUNTRY BOY: Andrew is the epitome of a classic country boy. He loves his mom to death, and would do anything for her. If she didn't like a girl that he wanted to go after, he would drop that girl faster than the snap of someone's fingers. Andy is also a gentleman, he holds the door for ladies and is nothing but polite. He's only kissed one girl, and he asked for her permission to do so. Some people are put off by his manners, and don't expect him to be so polite. Even in Stillwater, he was one of the nicest boys around and his mother gladly bragged about him at the local beauty salon. As a child, Andy would spend countless hours outside running around with the animals and playing fetch with the farm dog. After he makes it big, he wants to move back to Stillwater because he loves it so much.
-- LOVES: country music, horses, his dog, musicals, homemade cooking, his mother, saturday morning cartoons, deep fried oreos, the state fair, kids, laughter, cowboy boots, animals -- HATES: sequels, surfing, tequila, people who disrespect their mothers, pop music, abuse, beng away from home, peanuts, fast food, stereotypes, pickles, rap music, intolerance, cheaters
-- HISTORY !
Andrew Wyatt Taylor was born on the 12th of December to Garrett Taylor and his wife Bonnie. As soon as Bonnie laid her eyes on Andrew she was in love. Some say that she didn't even love her husband as much as she loved her son. When Andy was younger, he was extremely shy and barely talked. People around him were frustrated at how quiet he was, but his mother always defended him. When he was about 9 he discovered a guitar in the garage and taught himself how to play. He would spend hours in the barn writing songs and playing his guitar, smiling the whole time. After he found his love for music, he became more outgoing. Bonnie was ecstatic at how much Andy loved music, but his father was a little more hesitant. He grew more hesitant as Andy became a teenager, though.
When Andy turned fourteen he decided that he wanted to be a country singer. He wanted to share his love for country music with everyone and spent more time by himself writing songs. Garrett Taylor was a gun-toting, beer drinking Vietnam veteran and expected his son to inherit the farm just like every other man in the family. So naturally, when young Andy told his father his aspirations he was shot down. Garrett was already aggravated by Andy's sweet nature and love of musicals, and was afraid that his son might be gay. He would hear his friends talk about their sons hunting, drinking, and getting some in the back of their trucks and expected Andy to do the same. Garrett didn't appreciate his son and blamed Bonnie for how he had turned out.
But, Andy didn't listen to his father. He continued to be the same person that he was meant to be, and when people looked at him funny he just flashed a smile and a wink. Although Andy loved Stillwater, he realized that if he wanted to achieve his dreams that he had to get out of town. He waited about two years after he graduated high school before giving his mom a kiss and telling her goodbye. Andy drove an old pickup all the way across the country, and took a detour on his way to New York. Somehow he ended up in Capeside and took a break. He has no idea how long he'll be there, but he needs more money before he can go make his dreams come true.
