-- AIDEN LIAM GALLAGHER !
-- NAME: Aiden Liam Gallagher -- NICKNAMES: Aide, AL -- AGE & BIRTHDAY: 29, April 19th -- BIRTH PLACE: Sister Bay, Wisconsin -- ORIENTATION: Heterosexual -- OCCUPATION & SCHOOL GRADE: Journalist -- PLAYED BY: Patrick J Adams
-- PERSONALITY !
-- GENIUS: Aiden isn't one of those snot nosed idiots who claim that they're geniuses, he is literally a tested genius. He spent the early years of his life being marveled at by his neighbors in Wisconsin who had never seen anything like him. To be frank, Aiden was smarter than most adults in his town by the time he was a twelve year old. People hung on his every word and he was the front page story for almost every accomplishment. Naturally, someone who is worshiped for being spectacularly smart would develop some sort of god complex. However, his complex didn't include being fanned by girls in bikinis and having others bow down to him. He honestly just thought that he was too good for everyone around him, including his parents. You could say that that is a god complex, but he wasn't expecting anything from anyone. In all actuality, Aiden just wanted to be alone. -- SARCASTIC: One of the reasons that Aiden doesn't have many friends is his skillful use of sarcasm. He has no tolerance for stupid people and will easily fend them off with a hateful bite of poison. Most people have no idea that he is in fact, just being a sarcastic d-bag and take what he says in it's actual context which can cause problems for him. His intense sense of sarcasm generally lets Aiden get rid off people he doesn't like by barely conversating with them- just giving them a few words of sarcasm and an eye roll and they would merely bounce back and leave him be. What Aiden doesn't know is that his use of sarcasm is a double edged sword- not all people understand and therefore he has led many people to think either extremely highly of him or are shocked at how mean he is. -- SELECTIVE: Aiden's intense sarcasm and big brain lead him to be very selective of the people that he's around. He's not one to lead someone one just to be nice he's bitingly honest and will easily tell someone that he hates them with no hesitation. Aiden very much believes that the people around him influence his success and for that reason he doesn't just pick anyone to be his friend. He's so obsessed with having the right circle that he even uses mind games and little tests to see if someone is qualified enough to be his friend. Aiden's incessant worrying about having the perfect friend has not only clouded his judgement but has made him oblivious to the fact that really no one wants to be his friend. Very few people can handle the ego-stroking and the needs of this exceptionally emotional man-child.
-- LOVES: sudoku, crosswords, brain teasers, reading, political articles, bowling, math, writing, rhubarb pie, vanilla ice cream, documentaries, the discovery channel -- HATES: cats, stupidity, teen moms, reality television, losing, junk mail, parties, large crowds, not being in control, sports, irrelevant news stories, missing deadlines
-- HISTORY !
Aiden Gallagher was born in the sleepy town of Sister Bay, Wisconsin to two happy parents who had been looking to have a child for years. They were overjoyed with their healthy baby boy, especially Jack who was looking to have someone inherit their farm. Things were going great in the Gallagher house until they realized that Aiden was different. He was learning extremely quick and was developing much faster than he should have been at his age. His parents took him to a child psychologist when he was about five and tested his IQ, and it was over 131. Young Aiden was a genius. His parents were overjoyed: what better way to make quick cash than to exploit your child genius for money? And that's exactly what they did.
The Gallagher family held several interviews with news channels and the news of his genius reached not only Sister Bay but all of Wisconsin. Aiden was dubbed the "Genius of Wisconsin" and was never known by anything else his whole childhood. From an early age, his skills in language and reading were exceedingly high and he carried those skills into his late childhood. He began cranking out stories and poems like nobody's business, and often lost himself in these works of art. One day, his mother was cleaning his room and happened upon his journal. She sold all of his personal stories for a large sum of cash and used that money to buy a house on the beach in the sleepy town of Capeside.
Aiden had already grown to dislike his parents because of their blatant exploitation of him, but he hated his mother for what she did to him. Those stories that he had written were his his little world, his break from being the genius kid. He hated the move, and hated the reason that they were moving. He spent his high school years in Capeside, surprised that his parents hadn't enrolled him in some crazy genius academy. As the years went on, Aiden grew to be extremely withdrawn and selective about people. He didn't have many friends, and didn't feel at home. He was finally able to leave home when he was accepted by Columbia and entered into their Journalism program. His parents frowned upon Journalism and pressured him to be a doctor or a lawyer, but Aiden wasn't going to budge.
Aiden went on to get his Master's in Journalism and spent some time in New York before coming back to Capeside. No matter how much he hated his parents, he had fallen in love with the sleepy town and some of the people in it. Although it wasn't a big city, it had become home to him and he was happy writing stories for the sleepy little town.
