-- JENESIS CASSANDRA-LYNN HONEY !
-- NAME: Jenesis Cassandra-Lynn Honey -- NICKNAMES: Jenny, Jen -- AGE & BIRTHDAY: twenty-four ; May 24 -- BIRTH PLACE: Nashville, Tennessee -- ORIENTATION: heterosexual -- OCCUPATION & SCHOOL GRADE: music teacher/cheerleading coach (hopefully, if one is needed?) -- PLAYED BY: Carrie Underwood
-- PERSONALITY !
-- CONFIDENT: Confidence is one of those things for Jenesis, that she doesn't really have to work for. Ever since she was a little country girl, her mother had her up on stage in beauty pageants and singing on stage at the local county fairs. From the time that she was two until the time she moved to Capeside, Jenny was up on stage singing her heart out as often as she possibly could. Her voice certainly helped her through junior high where she hit puberty, high school where she fell in love with her best friend, her husband's funeral where she needed something to keep her afloat, and during her college years, when she needed something to fall back on if her voice couldn't carry her for any longer. This confidence seemed to start as soon as Jenesis was handed the microphone on stage when she was younger and started belting her voice out to her audience that loved her. -- FAMILY-ORIENTED: When it comes to being around family, Jenesis is always one all for it. She's the type of girl that everything around her can be going wrong and the world could have just blown up, but just as long as she has her family, it wouldn't even bother her in the least bit. Family always comes first and always will come first; that was what her mother and father had drilled into her head since the day that she was born and will keep drilling it into her head until the day that they die. And even after that, Jenesis will still have it stuck in her head, that's why she''ll drill it into the head's of her children when she has them. Since family means so much to her, Jenesis has taken on the idea of adopting a young child that needs a family, because she feels horrible that children of any age don't always have a family that they can turn to when the going gets rough. She of course doesn't want to raise the child alone, therefore won't act upon it until she finds the man that can break her of her no dating rule. -- CLOSED: As confident and family-oriented as Jenesis can be, she tends to keep her feelings and emotions to herself. When she got the news of her high school sweetheart being blow to pieces in the war across the ocean, Jenny didn't want to show how badly she felt about her husband's death. Lacking a best friend other than her late husband, Jenesis never had that one person to run to that would comfort her. Of course she could go to her parents, but they had enough sorrow in their lives with the passing of her baby brother, Jenny didn't want anything to hurt them anymore. When there is a guy that shows his feelings towards Jenesis, she tends to tell them that she's too busy with work and singing to give them the time and attention that they'll want from her. Deep down though, it's mostly just Jenesis scared to open up to someone again, afraid to lose them as well.

-- HISTORY !
It all started off with a man and a woman who fell in love at a young age, then married at an older, but still young age. It wasn't long after the pair had happily wed that they found out the news of their first child being on it's way to their open and loving arms. Approximately a year and two months after Jasper and Emmalynne Prescott were married, their first child, a son, was born. The precious child would be name Trevor Austin Prescott and he would remain an only child for the following six years. Around the age of six, Trevor found out that he was going to be a big brother. Jenesis Cassandra-Lynn Prescott was born on a warm May afternoon to the happy couple and a reluctant big brother. Trevor wasn't thrilled of having a baby sister, because let's face it, every boy wants a baby brother and not a cootie-infested baby sister in her frilly pink dress.
Even as hesitant as Trevor was to having a baby sister, Jenesis eventually grew on him. As little Jenesis grew bigger and started walking and talking, she became very attached to her big brother and didn't want to go anywhere without him. The pair seemed to bond very well as they got older, especially with Trevor learning to play the guitar and Jenesis continuing to sing since their mother forced her on stage since the time that she was able to start talking. Being on stage became a constant in Jenny's life and her big brother was always right there beside her, because she never wanted a different guitar player since they didn't know how to adjust their instrument to her voice as well as Trevor did. Singing at every county fair as they were able to and being on stage at beauty pageants, the other thing her mother forced into Jenny's life, was the key to their success. It wasn't long until their was a record label pursuing the young duo. There was nothing that could stop the duo now.
Well, nothing could stop the sibling music duo until they found out that they were going to be big siblings when Trevor was thirteen, Jenesis seven. During the pregnancy, Trevor and Jenesis suffered slightly, since their mother was kept on strict bed-rest almost the entire length of the pregnancy. They didn't appear at every single fair, nor pageant, and the townspeople definitely weren't thrilled. Of course they wanted Mrs. Prescott to be well and the baby inside her healthy, but they missed the voice of little Jenny and the guitar skills of Trevor and even the voice of Mrs. Prescott herself. She herself was a fabulous country singer and always was on stage since she was a little southern belle herself. It was seven and a half months into the pregnancy that baby Jasper Jr. was brought into the world. He was a tiny baby and in the hospital for a couple of months after he was born before he was allowed to go home.
Things were going just fine in the Prescott home; the children kept performing and Josiah was eventually added into the duo of Jenny and Trevor. Soon, crowds started gathering for the family that were larger than life and there was talk of recording a CD. Her children being so young, Mrs. Prescott didn't want that to happen just yet, but in the future when they all turned eighteen or if they wanted to record individually after they were eighteen years old, she'd have no problem with it. She wanted to protect her childrens' childhoods and there was no way that she was going to put up with being on tour or rushing to record a CD to please people. For Mrs. Prescott, the decision was an easy one, but her children were a little upset about it.
When Josiah Jr. was around seven years old, he started getting real sick and soon began getting homeschooled. They soon found out that Josiah was diagnosed with leukemia and was to far advanced to slow down or stop. JJ was just shy of his eighth birthday when he went into the hospital for the final time and passed away overnight. The loss of a child is hard on any family, but for the Prescott family, they weren't just losing a beloved son or brother, they were losing their miracle. Mrs. Prescott was told she'd never have another child after Jenesis and Trevor and Jenesis actually took to their baby brother after storming around and never wanting to accept him into the family for anything.
It took a bit out of the family when JJ passed away, but they all had their person to cling to when he had. Mr. and Mrs. Prescott had each other, Trevor had his girlfriend, and Jenesis had her best friend, Tripp. When they were younger, Tripp was jealous of Jenesis for getting all the attention in school since they were neighbors and their parents were really good friends and always talked about Jenny instead of Tripp. He always felt that he needed to outdo her with everything to even get his mother to notice him. But at fourteen, Jenesis clung to Tripp, needing her best friend for everything that had happened with her baby brother and to help her through the school days. It was predictable that the pair were only going to grow closer and Tripp soon found himself asking Jenny to be his girl. She gladly accepted the offer and at fourteen and a half years old, Jenesis Prescott began dating her future husband.
Just two weeks after she turned eighteen, two hours after her graduation ceremony, Jenesis Prescott was walking down the aisle to her man in uniform, Tripp, and minutes after they were married, the pair walked down the aisle as Mr. and Mrs. Tripp Jason Honey. Jenesis was always a year younger than Tripp and while she was completing her senior year of high school, he was off in the army. Her senior year was rough without her best friend and boyfriend, but she knew that she'd make it through the year because he would be home just in time for prom, which was sort of a prewedding event for them; her in a gown, him in a tux. Everything was perfect and they were as happy as they could be. Until they got a phone call a few weeks after their honeymoon and Tripp would be leaving to go overseas again. Jenesis was of course upset about Tripp leaving, but she was going to be the type of army wife that looked to the future and waited until he got home again to cry.
Seven months into his nine month tour in Iraq, Jenesis woke up early one morning and decided that she was going to make breakfast for herself. A real breakfast. Not just cereal poured into a bowl like she was use to doing. While she was washing the dishes in the sink, Jenesis managed to look up to see an army car pull up to her home and two soldiers get out. She wasn't sure what they were doing at her home, considering she had nothing to do with the army, besides supporting Tripp. Though, when she answered the door for the soldiers and saw them both remove their caps, Jenesis knew what they were about to tell her. Moments later, both soldiers had to hold up the fragile female they came to tell bad news too, because she wasn't able to stand on her own anymore. It took awhile before Jenesis was able to be on her own two feet without any help. Her momma and daddy came to her rescue and moved her back into their home so that their daughter wouldn't have to be alone in the big house that was labeled her own now. While Jenesis lived in her parents house, her aunt's daughter, about ten years her junior, moved in when Jenny's aunt Deborah was stripped of her rights because of a drug addiction.
While Jenesis was at home, she decided that she would go to college and become a teacher. She always had seen her teachers as someone there to help her when she needed it, so Jenny felt that if she was able to do the same thing to students of her own, then her job would be done right. At the end of her schooling, Jenesis received a letter asking her to teach in a school someone up in Massachusetts, a fine job nonetheless. Jenesis would be bringing music to the school and she would be glad to do so. Her parents and cousin, who was like a baby sister to her now, were upset about her moving so far, but being at home in Nashville wasn't doing Jenny any good. All she had were memories of Tripp and constant sadness when she thought about losing him. So Massachusetts was the right choice for Jenesis, since she just wants to live a small town life with a fresh start.
-- SAMPLE !
It was only after a few bites that Mackenzie's stomach screamed at him a loud 'thank you' before quieting down once more to begin the digesting process on the cereal he was currently shoving into his mouth. Mac honestly couldn't remember the last time that he had actually eaten something, but he could tell by the way his stomach was making loud noises, that it was probably quite a number of hours before this. As he continued to woof down his food, Mackenzie moved his procession from leaning up against the cold marble counter to the chair at the dining room table. As he continued the process of picking up a few bit of cereal with his spoon, bringing it to his mouth, chewing and swallowing, then repeating, Mackenzie heard the noises of his roommate and fellow band mate, Paris. The two were of course friends, otherwise, Mackenzie wouldn't have offered to room with the girl, already knowing about her bitchy attitude and how quickly she could go from happy and nice to mean and vicious. Honestly though, that didn't really scare Mac very much, considering the number of sisters that he had and what he had to go through with all of them, especially when they all ganged up on him at the same time. Though, sometimes with Paris, he got tired of her attitude real quick.
Lucky enough for Paris though, she definitely had the looks to keep this brown-eyed boy fixated on her. Yes, sound the alarms, because Mackenzie could admit that he was particularly fond of the way Paris looked, not that it probably wasn't obvious already, but still. What was Mac supposed to do exactly when he was horny at all times of the night and Paris was in his view. It's not like he was able to go up to her and be like 'you're hot, let's fuck.' It was true though, that he could do that with a stranger because he more often than not got the response of a yes. With Paris though, Mac was actually slightly afraid of her response being a simple no and then there would be awkward tension between the two that neither of them, nor the rest of the band, really needed. Besides that point, it was something that Mackenzie was still a bit cautious of doing by asking Paris for a night of fun in either of their rooms because they were actually pretty good friends and he didn't want to ruin that exactly. If he had that awkward tension with one of the other girls in the band, Mac wouldn't really have that big of a problem with it, well, not nearly as big of a problem with it as he would have with Paris. And for a third and final point, Mac was actually afraid of Paris herself, especially when her temper roared loud.
Continuing to pick at the cereal in his bowl, Mackenzie happened to look up as his roommate entered the room and leaned against the counter in the kitchen, hearing the words she soon spoke. “Having a good morning, are we, Mr. Mackenzie?” was what he heard, so soft and sweet coming from those lips on the porcelain looking princess standing before him. He knew that this sweet voice was only teasing him at the moment, because any second from that point until that evening, and possibly the following day, Paris was going to scream at the top of her lungs at him. And it wasn't like he didn't know that it was going to be handed to him, because it was his own fault for bringing a girl home with him and knowing that this very angry blonde bombshell was going to be up all night because of them. Mackenzie would be lying if he said that he wasn't expecting it, but he decided that he was just going to go with the flow and hope for the very best. "To be quite honest, Paris, my morning sucks. I don't remember anything from last night and I have the worst hangover imaginable," he said to her. Of course he should have left out the small detail of him having a hangover because that was just the path that Paris was probably looking for, knowing that if he had a hangover and she started yelling, that she would have a lot more fun with it. And of course as he said this, Mac watched as Paris crossed her arms over her chest, making her boobs that much more noticeable. Didn't she know that she was only making him that much more crazy about her? Or was that all part of her little plan to get him to conform and do whatever it was that she had wanted him to do? Either way, if she kept this up, he'd kiss the ground she walked on.
Then she spoke to him with calm and soothing words once more, “Well, I’m glad someone is. I’m glad someone in this apartment got sleep last night.” And there is was, the threat of all threats, knowing that the yelling was going to begin momentarily. Bracing himself as best as he could with his current state of being, Mackenzie could only hope that the yelling would be as loud as she could possibly get and only last for a short period of time. If it only lasted a little while, Mac didn't care how loud she got whatsoever, the main fact was was that it was only going to last a short time. But that was a long shot and he figured that it wasn't going to happen the way he wanted it to, so he just braced himself. Then Mackenzie heard something that he hadn't ever heard flow from Paris' lips before, “Should I scream now or wait for it later? I think my throat could use some getting ready for tonight’s show.” Was she really giving him the option of whether he wanted to be yelled at now or later? Or was she just fucking with him, making him think that he had a choice when he really didn't. "Well, Paris, if you want to scream now, then go on. Honestly though, if you really are giving me that choice, I'd prefer it if you did it after my headache was gone," he said to her, still watching her every movement.
“And please stop bringing strange girl’s home. I mean, that one? Yeah, she was fucking freaky.” Mac couldn't help but laugh as soon as he heard those words come from Paris' mouth. "I'm not going to lie Paris, but I don't even remember anything from last night or how the hell I got home and how that girl even wound up in my bed. I definitely had sixty drinks too many last night," he said to her. “And next time, if you really must bright strange women home, close the fucking door! Some people don’t want to see your ass, Mac. Really.” That right there, nearly made Mackenzie choke on his breakfast, almost, but not quite. A few simple coughs and he was fine again. Now he was going to be a bit of a dick with his comeback, even though he knew that the punishment for it was going to be loud yelling. Oh well. "Next time I bring a strange woman home, Paris, don't look through the crack of my door. You know that if you weren't so curious as to what my ass really looked like, you wouldn't have stopped to look," he said to her.
