-- FEISTY: Scarlet has a lust for life that most wouldn’t expect from her seemingly goth appearance. She doesn’t take crap from people and often has something snappy and clever to say. Yes, she can be a bit snarky and rude, but most of the time she all for good humor. She’s still polite most of the time. Mostly what makes feisty a good word for her is she’s highly determined, she can do almost everything you throw at her and if she can’t she goes down trying. Her feistiness can be a good and a bad thing, in the sense that she can be quite cynical and snarky is a big downside because she has a hard time not saying what’s on her mind. However it’s a good thing in the sense of her determination, but can’t we find the pros and cons in any trait. Most of her friends love this side of her because it can range from just plain funny to very serious. Basically even if she’s a bit sassy sometimes anyone close to her knows she cares about them it’s never a question in any of her friends’ minds.

-- BLUNT: Blunt should really be Scarlet’s middle name, but it’s not. Scarlet finds it hard to sugar coat things, so she often doesn’t try at all. If she does try it never turns out to well, but those who know her well know that her bluntness comes out of love. Sugar coating only confuses people in Scarlet’s eyes, but often being on hundred percent blunt causes people to believe she’s… well a bitch. However she believes it’s more kind to be blunt, just tell people flat out so they don’t have to read between the lines. She believes it’s tough love and that people sometimes need you to say something as clearly as possible for them to get it. People are easily confused sometimes and it’s best to approach things clearly. It can be a great thing for people, because if she doesn’t like you she’s going to let you know. Granted she won’t sacrifice decency (most of the time) and will still be polite for the most part, but she isn’t going to tell you she’s your friend if she’s not. If she’s making fun of you, you’ll know.

-- FEARLESS: Okay, so everyone has their fears but when one sees the way that Scarlet conducts herself you wouldn’t guess she did. Another way of saying this could easily be reckless. Scarlet doesn’t think before she speaks much and that often causes her some grief. Nor does she think before she does things. Sometimes this can mean endangering herself or just her emotions or job. She doesn’t think about what could happen much and instead just jumps right into things. This of course has its benefits she’s the first to give something all she’s got without being hindered by fear. She’ll jump off a bridge in the middle of winter if she thinks it will be a thrill. She’s broken almost every bone in her body because of her “fearlessness”. Then again there is the major downfall to this trait. Scarlet been in danger of losing her job because she’d not afraid to tell people they’re being idiots, which also ties in with her bluntness. Needless to say there are many ways that fear helps a person and lacking that can cause many problems.

-- ACCEPTING: The girl has put up with a lot from people in her life and through he experiences she’s grown to accept people more readily for who they are and not “who they could be”. She’s not judgmental for the most part and tries her best not to be. People are who they are, you didn’t live their life so who are you to judge, right? However this can backfire on her by making her put up with a lot of crap from people and wellbeing a doormat to those you care about isn’t any better than being a doormat to those you don’t. One wouldn’t think with how feisty and vivacious she is that she’d let people walk on her, but it honestly depends on the person a lot of the time. Her being a doormat doesn’t happen often, but it does still happen. Though on the other hand putting up with people’s crap and accepting them for who they are doesn’t mean she’s never going to tell them they’re being a douche because she will tell them, mostly cause she likes the word douche… and twat, prick, dill-hole and fuck head. She’s a woman of many expletives, but also a woman with a lot of heart and kindness to give. If you can put up with the fact that sometimes it’s not in the most sensitive way.

Little Scarlet Garland was born in Leeds, England, however she grew up in Dublin, Ireland for the remainder of her childhood. Scarlet did not have a normal childhood in the slightest. Her father was a conman/forger/thief and her mother was his fence, meaning she would sell what he stole. As a child Scarlet grew up in a wealthy family and learned how to manipulate people well, just like her father. Her father was charming, cunning and creative, to be a great con artist you had to possess all of those traits and he wore them all well. When Scarlet was eight her father was convicted on only one of his many crimes and was sentenced to four years in prison. In those four years her mother continued to work, but they lived much more modestly as to not attract the feds attention.

Then on her eleventh birthday her father was let out of prison a changed man, he was no longer dapper or charming. Instead he was cold and weathered, he no longer actively worked as a con man but instead he decided to start his own little crime ring. Being the resourceful man that he was he did quite well and Scarlet was seen as a kind of crime princess. However at the age of twelve she realized her father was not the man she’d grown up with – a man who was morally gray, but always kind. On her fourteenth birthday she asked her parents if she could go to a boarding school in New York. They agreed because they underestimated their daughters own manipulative abilities. She only wanted to get away from her father’s name and New York seemed far enough away.

During her years at boarding school she slowly cut off as much contact with her parents as possible. Not to mention she did all the things that teenagers do when parents aren’t around and even sometimes when they are. Her high school years were fairly uneventful until she graduated and refused to come home, they in turn cut her off. She’s planned to go to college to and major in computer crime. ‘Course that was down the drain and that meant Scarlet needed money fast before her savings ran out. No, this isn’t one of those tails where she becomes a stripper or anything instead she became a realtor and her manipulative upbringing came in handy when selling houses. She’s did quite well for herself until she began having an affair with her boss and got fired when she found out he was married.

So at the age of twenty she moved to Capeside and began selling houses, apartments and summer homes to yuppies and business men. She figured she wouldn’t get into much trouble in Capeside and hasn’t so far. She’s making buckets of money doing something she despises, so how different is she than everyone else in the world.
