A twenty six year old genius, Reid works for the Capeside police department after taking time off from the BAU. Always quick with a random fact about just about anything obscure, but rarely in the loop about popular topics. Awkward is the name of his game, he’s very rarely comfortable with strangers unless he working, in which case he feels in his element. He has the ability to be a total goofball that’s loads of fun, but the only time he feels confident enough to show that side of himself is when he’s intoxicated in some way, which he rarely does. He has a romantic plot going on, but friends are always welcome.
penelope elizabeth kemplay
The newest of the babies is Penny here, Penny’s is twenty years old and majoring in art while working in a Gallery. Loves comic books, video games, music and movies, however she often runs into people who try and pigeon hole her into an ingénue role, you know another pretty face with not much going on upstairs; in high school she played along, but now that she’s older she just wants to be herself. You can count on her to be a bit quirky and a lot of fun to be around, she really out going and usually pretty nice, though she’s got sass. If you give her ice cream or coffee or a combination of the two she’ll love you forever, if you’re a cheater or liar she’ll hate your guts. If someone would like to make my character request here I’ll love you forever, but I’m open to suggestions with her.
bradley alexander strachan
Ah Brad my first character here, he’s seventeen and interested in special effects make up and basically anything that will give him an adrenaline or endorphin rush. He dabbles in photography, but nowhere near as much as his bestie and possibly soon to be girlfriend Ruby. He’s a prick there’s no denying that, he hails from England and will pretty much sleep with any girl in the world. Loves soccer and his mustang. Brad’s all about pretending he doesn’t need anyone, but he’s really quite fragile and has been unwittingly been struggling with depression since childhood. A product of a broken marriage he doesn’t believe in love and will fight anyone tooth and nail if they say it’s real. Lalala! |

( b r a n d o n && r e i d ) so they both work at the police department. brandon is a detective but i assume they would know each other. somehow i don't think that brandon would like reid very much. he probably wouldn't like the fact that reid is most likely smarter than him and he hates that. but yeah, i just wanted to plot them.

YAY! more police lol. that could definitely be fun and i don't know maybe if Brandon gets to know him better, he may feel superior to him in the romance department since Reid is so clueless about women and give him advice, i don't know, but it sounds good I'm not sure how Reid would deal with someone disliking him since he's not confrontational at all so yeah sounds fun, i apologize for the babbling it's a serious affliction i have lol

( b r a n d o n & r e i d ) that could work. brandon would definitely see himself as superior in that department. he'd probably try and teach reid the ways of wooing women. it'd be an interesting twist if later on he came to ask reid for advice with his girl problems. he'd feel really awkward doing that though, as he isn't very good at swallowing his pride. i'm not sure if he would dislike him that much, but because reid works for the police too, he'd just swallow that mild annoyance and pretend like it doesn't exist.

-----------------------------reid and josiah (First off, I love Criminal Minds. Nom.) Anyway, usually Josiah is pretty confident and out-going and all that, but for some reason I feel like being around Reid would just make him more awkward rather than less. Like, he'd suddenly have no idea what to say or do and just be like "...Welp. What now?" But they could totally share a sense of humor and just be alright being slightly awkward together. I think they'd be adorable.
[/font] -----------------------------penelope and josiah Not exactly sure why, but I can see these two being mutually trusting of one another. Josiah wasn't around for her high school years, so he wouldn't have any old stereotypes about her in mind and would be perfectly fine taking the relationship from the beginning without being all "Oh, just another pretty face." But at some point I can just see one or the other of them calling each other up and being like "Hey, I need to talk to someone" and within a few minutes there's a knock at the door and a tub of ice cream in hand. They may not even get a chance to be around each other all that much, but at least know that they always have someone to call?

Though, if they did, I can't see them actually being best friends or anything of the sort. I think they'd probably have a mutual just.. indifference to one another. Not much drawing them too one another.
