-- TYLER ERIC WHITMORE !
-- NAME: Tyler Eric Whitmore -- NICKNAMES: Ty -- AGE & BIRTHDAY: twenty-eight & April 8, 1983 -- BIRTH PLACE: Capeside -- ORIENTATION: straight -- OCCUPATION & SCHOOL GRADE: publicist -- PLAYED BY: Tom Welling
-- PERSONALITY !
-- MANIPULATIVE: Tyler has always been able to talk his way into getting what he wants. He's just one of those people that you want to like you and he knows it. Part of his job is getting along with all different types of people though and so he's learned over the years to say and do whatever it takes to make things go his way. Not that he always does it on purpose, but he's been caught in a few lies in his day and pissed off plenty of women when he made them think they'd be together and then left them before it got serious. -- SOCIABLE: Tyler likes to talk and be doing things with other people constantly. He can't stand sitting around at home bored and most of the time he doesn't with his job. Plus he spent a good portion of his time flirting with every pretty girl he saw before he met Eliza. He still likes to have fun though and go out with people and have a few drinks and he probably still wouldn't ever say no to a good party. Even though he got into PR just to have a good job, he actually has grown to like interacting with people. -- GUARDED: Tyler has always been this way since his father walked out. He would never trust any of the men his mother would sometimes bring to their apartment or try to get along with them. He grew up thinking that if he fell in love with someone the way his mother did with his father that it would end up with him getting hurt as badly as his mother did. Tyler never wanted to experience pain like that, so he just avoided relationships until his sort-of one with Eliza. Even with her though, Tyler could never call her his girlfriend or say the three little words that would make things really serious. Besides now that she's left him, Tyler feels justified in not trusting anyone completely with his heart because he's already been hurt by Eliza when he opened up a little more to her.
-- LOVES: parties, women, his family, money, Eliza, sex, sports, movies, interacting with people, sleeping, traveling, cars, his job, and having things work out for him. -- HATES: arguments, fighting, commitment, break ups, rudeness, snobs, animals, his father, alcoholics, drug addicts, being alone, hangovers, and heart break.
-- HISTORY !
Tyler didn't have a happy childhood. He didn't grow up in any fancy mansion and he sure as hell didn't go to a private school. His father had been a drunk and an addict and had walked out on Tyler and his mother when he was only five. His mother killed herself working two jobs after that just to support them and growing up that way made him bitter and angry at his father for never being there. He'd decided early on that when he was old enough, he would find a job that would make him enough money to get both he and his mother out of the tiny apartment they lived in at the time.
High school was what really defined what kind of person Tyler became though. He was the typical popular jock, but not because he enjoyed the popularity. He was really just trying to see if he could be good enough to have some kind of career in football. Unfortunately, he spent more time partying and sleeping around than taking things seriously. Tyler could never make things work out with any girl though because he always refused to commit to someone and they would walk out of his life. Luckily for him, he was smart enough to earn himself a diploma and a college scholarship on his own merits even without football.
When he finally went to college, Tyler learned that he was good at talking to people and had great leadership skills, so he took some classes and got his degree in public relations. One of his professors set him up with an internship at a PR firm close to home and Tyler has been working there ever since. He did get his mother out of the tiny apartment and into a home after that and he lives close to her so that he can keep and eye on her and make sure she's alright.
The biggest thing to happen in Tyler's life though came after his first year at the firm. It was when he met Eliza Lieberman at a party at a friend's house. The two of them hit it off instantly and then quickly went into a series of breaking up and making up because Tyler couldn't commit to her, but neither of them could really deny each other when it came down to it. They kept going on like that until he realized that he was falling for her.
They were never officially a couple, but for the last six months Tyler treated her like she was his and they were both happy until the night that Eliza flipped out on him and then left him again. He still thinks that something is up with her because she had no good reason for leaving him, but he's too hurt by the fact that she left to confront her about it, so he's been burying himself in his work and trying to shut everyone out until he can force himself to get over her for good.
-- SAMPLE !
In all his eighteen years of life, Holland had only been on two dates so far, both of which had been set up by his parents to try to get him to date a girl that they thought might fix their son and his bad habits. Naturally, Holland had done what he always did in those situations. He coerced the girls to sleep with him and then never called them back. After that, his parents had stayed out of his romantic life. He wasn't the type to be tied down by any one girl and he certainly wasn't going to date someone that his parents would approve of. Kennedy Russell definitely wasn't a girl that they would have approved of. In short, she was the female version of himself which was why when he'd asked her on this 'date', he knew she'd have the same expectations as he did for how the night would end.
Well that wasn't the only reason, but Kennedy didn't need to know that there was a part of him that thought maybe she could be the girl that would finally be a perfect match for him. Sure they were very much alike, but Kennedy was different enough to be interesting, great in bed, knew how to party, and she had a feisty personality that he absolutely liked. Holland wasn't looking for a relationship per se, but he thought that if it ever were to happen, she would be the one who it would be with. So they were going out tonight to a bar together, which was a change for them. Usually their time was spent having sex and then parting ways. They'd never actually spent time getting to know each other with their clothes still on. It would be different, but he was hoping that it would be a good thing, because when it really came down to it, Holland was incredibly lonely with his current lifestyle.
He would never admit it to anyone, but sometimes he wished that he could find one person that would be enough for him. Someone that he could actually stand keeping around with him and that wouldn't mind him drinking and smoking and would accept him for who he was. Most people didn't even know that Holland played guitar and was a singer and that his dream was to be a musician one day. He never let anyone get close enough to find out that much about him. So in a way, tonight was a test for the both of them. Holland was testing Kennedy to see if she was someone he might be able to build a future with, and testing himself to see if he could actually deal with being with just one person. They'd just have to see how it all worked out in the end.
At the moment though, he was more focused on how he looked as he stood outside her front door. He was dressed simply in jeans and a t-shirt, and he hadn't bothered messing with his hair because it always looked good no matter what. Holland knew he was attractive, but he wasn't truly egotistical about it. He just acted that way around people because they liked it. He was just one of those people that looked good without ever trying, and Kennedy had definitely noticed, just as he'd noticed her. Holland smirked at the thought of her naked and on top of him as he knocked on her door, waiting for her to answer so they could start their night out. At the very least it would be interesting. It always was with the two of them.

- The application title needs to be in lower case - The personality points need to be paragraphs, have a look at some accepted applications for examples
Other than that, looks good.
