We'll lie under the covers all afternoon
Capeside was a beautiful place to live. Every weekend felt like a vacation there. Mornings in Capeside were like a taste of Heaven. Mary-Jane loved getting up with the sun and grab some tea and watch the sun rise on her days off. . . unless she had a busy or rough day previously, but today wasn't one of those days.
It was 7am and there she was sitting on their front porch swing, one leg dangling to keep her in motion, the other stretched out in front of her since she was sitting feather duster-eyed in the swing. Their house faced the north so from their front porch she could look to her left and right to see the sun set and rise. Nature was her thing, so there was nothing more peaceful than sitting out on a nice day soaking up the beauty of it, besides being curled up in her husband's arms.
Her husband was the most important person in her life. She could hardly believe she even thought that but she did. For the longest time it was always her parents and sister no matter what. Even while Bryan and her were dating he still didn't surpass them. After they married Mary-Jane fell more and more in love with him in each passing day. It grew to the point where she couldn't ever imagine her life without him. Of course she still loved and cared for her family dearly, but she'd do anything for Bryan. Just thinking about him made the world around her seem more beautiful. He was just incredibly good to her.
MJ sat there and thought about what she needed to do for the day. She debated if she had the energy to go to church that morning like she knew she should, or if maybe it was a day to just run errands. There was still a lot about the house that wasn't down. MJ was sorta remodeling it slowly and trying to make it their own. She wanted to landscape and repaint some rooms, decorate, and who knows what else. When she gets enthusiastic about a project there is no telling what she may do.
After 8am rolled around she finally went inside to throw together something for breakfast. She still needed to get ready for the day, then she'd have to figure out what else would fill her time.
