This is simply an overview of how the admins operate when they read your application - this is just to keep you informed on what we do and to prevent drama from occurring where applications are concerned.
001. When an application is posted one of the two administrators will read it. We read every word. Often times we will have a word document open or will use the reply page to make notes about things that seem off. Other times we will sum it all up when we're done. If we have issues, we will talk to each other. Usually we communicate via messenger so that we can get done faster.
002. The application is put into accepted, pending or denied mode. Accepted just means you've been approved and can start roleplaying once we move your application and put you into your member group. Pending means that we have found some things that need to be changed. If you can explain to us why those things are there, please do. Denied means there were too many things going on and we couldn't find a way to pend you without it being a ridiculous effort on your part.
003. If you've been pended that means we give you a chance to correct it. Please let us know by posting on the application or in the cbox or even by PM if we aren't around that you are working on it and have accepted the requests we've made. Also feel free to explain the things we've commented on. Pending you does not mean we hate you. We are giving you a chance to fix things so you can play on our site!
004. If you've been denied you will notice that your account no longer exists. It has been deleted. Why? Often times we find that people who have been denied never return. We aren't a site that keeps inactive accounts around for the numbers so we delete accounts as soon as they are denied. If you would like to try again, and you are always welcome, and want to redo the same character re-registering with the same name will re-activate your account. You can even PM us to ask us to move your application to "incomplete" so you can work on it.
005. We will never pick your application apart for personal reasons. Assuming we're bigots or assholes because of something we said while replying to your application really hurts our feelings. We are very accepting and forgiving people and we hate denying and pending applications but we're trying to make things better for you.
006. Please don't add any special coding or formatting to your roleplay sample. We just want to see the text. Any other coding can stretch the site, and is just not needed. Thank you.
If there are any more questions you have about the application process feel free to PM us, we may even add it to the list.
