It was a slow night at work. For some reason, Mondays were always slow. Teddy wondered why that was. Did people just not hire DVD’s on a Monday night? Was it not the done thing and he hadn’t got the memo about it? Teddy never seemed to get the memos about what was cool and what wasn’t. He had no idea why though, because (at least in his own mind) he was very cool. Maybe he was so cool that he didn’t need to follow the cool rules? Ha ha. That was one thing he really was aware of. His lack of cool. But you know what? He couldn’t bring himself to really care all that much. He liked who he was, and be dammed anyone that thought he should change. It was a strange thing, for a teenager to be so comfortable with being un-cool. But then, Teddy was a strange boy, so it fit well. He was, rather honestly, the odd kid. He always had been. Referencing occult TV shows or comics you’ve never heard of. Wearing fluorescent green chucks, just because they are there. Watching Harry Potter on a Saturday night because that seemed epically cooler than going to some party and getting drunk. It really didn’t matter to him what others thought.
Letting out a sigh, the young man leant against the counter. What did matter, though, was the fact he was bored. Epically and irrevocably bored. A thesaurus of bored. It wouldn’t have been so bad had there been another staff member on with him, he’d have been able to chat and enjoy the company. Alas though, he was alone. Considering how ghost town it was though, it probably made more sense only to have one staff member on. This really didn’t help Teddy. He still had an hour of his shift left, and unless he found something to do he was going to go nutty. The youth had already gone through the store, re-alphabetizing the shelves, then ranked the new releases in order of his personal preference. Of course he’d seen them all- it was his ritual to hire a new release the day it came to the store so he could ‘give customers an honest opinion’. Of course it had nothing at all to do with the fact that he was just a huge movie nerd and wanted to see them. Unless it was something really awesome, Teddy liked to wait until they came out on DVD. For some reason he just preferred the comfort of his house and a large collection of snack foods.
It was too quiet, that was the problem. Pushing himself away from the counter, Teddy grinned. What he needed was some music. Now, it was usually policy that they play the adverts reel, or a movie on all the screens in the store, but eh, bugger that. Crouching down, the young man fished his Ipod from his back. Which was in the shelving under the counter for safe keeping. Straightening up, he moved over to the stereo, He wasn’t the only one who liked to connect their mp3 player to the sound system when there wasn’t a manger in the store. In fact, he was surprised they hadn’t been caught, considering the connection cord was always just sitting there. Plugging the device in, the boy scrolled through his playlists until he came to one entitled ‘disney songs that will put hair on your chest’. Grinning to himself, the young man selected it. Now that was more like it. Setting the device down, he did a slight spin on the spot as the first song started. Belting out the lyrics. “Let’s get down to business, to defeat the huns.” Oh yeah he was cool..

Hannah let out a sigh and looked around her room frantically. It wasn’t exactly the room of a typical teen age girl. Her walls were painted a sort of muted acid green; she had a black canopy bed frame without the canopy. And her bedding was a mix between greens, grays and black. One could easily guess what dear Hannah’s favorite colors were by looking at her room. Even though everyone always told her black wasn’t a color she’d still say it was one of her favorites along with green. There were accents of green and black everywhere, but not in an over bearing match-y-match sort of way. On the walls were framed comic book sketches that she’d acquired from her many visits To Artist’s Alley at Comic Con. Of course her comic book collection was shelved neatly, along with her book and video games. The only thing that told someone the gender of the person living there was the black vanity that was busting with make-up and hair things.
It was the black vanities stool that Hannah was perched on now, she’d just filmed four different tutorials ranging from the wonderfully theatrical to the wearable for every day. Now her face was sore from talking off the various other looks, so she decided it was probably best to find something else to stomp her boredom. Course she’d read all her new comics that she picked up the last Wednesday already and nothing especially exciting was on TV… well if she enjoyed reality TV there would be, but alas she hated it with a fiery passion that burned deep within her soul. Yes, it was a dramatic way of expressing one’s dislike for something, but the word hate was so over used it’d lost all meaning to Hannah and she felt it no longer accurately described her own feelings for “reality” television or anything else that she had a fiery passion against deep within her soul. Like Miley Cyrus or the Jonas Brothers or… Bieber. Basically anything that was making billions of dollars off being ridiculously untalented and/or plain stupidity.
She stood up and looked around her room again as if a better vantage point would suddenly give her an idea for something fun and exciting to do… no such luck. Walking out of her room her father waved at her asking if she was going to see Teddy. Her father loved Teddy; it was probably a little unhealthy how much he loved him. If she told her father she was going to leave Teddy for someone else he’d probably ground her and force the two of them into a marriage. Okay, again maybe not the most accurate way of saying it, but never the less her dear and wonderful father had given her a wonderful idea – visit Teddy at work. He always talked about how slow things were there on Monday nights anyway, he’d probably appreciate the company and she could pick up a movie while she was there too. She nodded at her father’s answer “yeah, I think I will” he shot her a beaming smile and reminded her again how much he liked him and sent her on her way.
Once she reached the doors of them video store she opened it to find something that only Teddy could do while still holding on to some semblance of integrity. She crossed her arms and cocked her him out to the side and said in a very dead pan sort of way “wow, you really are a dork” shaking her head she spoke again “I think we have to end this” she said pointing her finger at herself and Teddy. Nodding for a couple moments she finally smiled and waited for him to come embrace her or invite her behind the counter, she didn’t know if behind the counter was like stepping on to a ship where you have to ask permission first.

Turning to his side, Teddy continued in his singing. “Did they send me daughters, when I asked for sons?” Doing some sort of odd looking, very made up karate move as he did. Though, it wasn’t the first time he’d made that move, sadly to say. Just like it wasn’t the first time he had danced and sang to a Disney song in public. Some where he’d lost that little voice that most people had that stopped him from doing something completely ridiculous. Or maybe he’d never had it to begin with. That was always a possibility. Teddy had never seemed to mind how much of a dork he was coming off, or how other people saw him. Of course, that wasn’t to say that he put no effort into making a good impression when it mattered, or he just went through life not caring about other people. It was more that he accepted himself for who he was, and wouldn’t change for someone who didn’t like who he was.
Ready to start the next line of a song, Teddy spun again. However stopped himself mid-spin as he noticed the gorgeous red-head who was now addressing him. Other people would have blushed and stammered. Trying to make out that it wasn’t a usual thing for them to be caught busting a groove to Disney. Teddy though, did not. Instead, he flashed his girlfriend a cheesy grin as he leaned over to turn the music down to a level that was more appropriate for a conversation. Though he was sure they could have yelled over it if need be. He didn’t think that would have been very polite though. Your girlfriend comes to visit you at work, and you make her yell over music to talk to you. Yeah, not nice at all. Dork he may be, but Teddy actually treated Hannah really well. That probably had a lot to do with why her dad liked him so much. Well, that and he was a pretty un-threatening looking guy with the interests of a twelve-year-old. Not exactly the type you have to worry about knocking your daughter up.
“Ah!” His grinned widened, as he opened the gate and stepped out from behind the counter. “My very own girl worth fighting for.” He offered his girlfriend a cheesy wink, before tugging her closer to him, wrapping his arms around her hips as he did. Leaning in, he pressed a soft kiss to her forehead before pulling back enough to raise his eyebrow at her. “End this?” He challenged, a playful smirk tugging at his lips. “You wouldn’t dare. You are far too attached to me.” He was being rather cocky of course, but he actually believed what he was saying. He and Hannah had been together for so long now, especially by high school standards, that it was it wasn’t a secret that they had pretty solid feelings for each other. If his status as a dork was really a deal breaker, there was no way he’d even have gotten past the first date with the girl now in his arms.
Leaning in again, he pressed a small kiss to her lips this time. Tightening his arms around her a little more. “Best part of my day, right here.” He mumbled against her lips, before pulling back. Hands still on her hips. Eyes alight with excitement. He was always so excited to see the young woman. It wouldn’t matter the circumstances, the thought of seeing Hannah always made Teddy feel all warm and at peace inside. She was his true north. The gravity point pulling him and his whole world towards her. It was strange to feel that way when so young, but the boy couldn’t help it. His world rather literally revolved around Hannah, and the idea of anything shaking that was a frightening one. College, the rest of their lives.. They’d just need to make it work, that was all. And they would. He was sure of it.

It was probably a good thing that Hannah knew what a dork her boyfriend was and it was also probably a good thing that she was just about as dorky. Neither of them seemed to care whether or not other preserved them as dorky, which she always found to be an incredibly wonderful trait for them to have because it allowed them to be themselves and not worry about second guessing every word and action as their peers did. She was more than happy with her boyfriend of two years, if dorkiness had been a plausible reason for breaking up with him she wouldn’t still be around – it would probably have taken her a day to break up with him. Thankfully they both appreciated the so called flaw of nerd-dom and always had a lot of fun together. Teddy was like her reset button, whenever things got crazy and felt out of control and she felt like nothing could help, Teddy would reset everything, like a breath and reboot.
Teddy was a gentleman even if most people wouldn’t necessarily see how he was. The little things he did like turn down his music when she walked into the room. Most people though gentlemen had to be like James Bond and be smooth and sexy too, but Hannah never thought of James Bond as a gentleman, in fact for the most part she considered him to be a womanizing skeeze-bucket. She liked that Teddy always treated her well, that he never made her feel like there was something more important than she was when she was in his presence. The fact that he always seemed happy to see her and never made her feel like nothing more than a pretty piece of meat on his arm. Not that Hannah ever thought she was pretty enough to be a trophy or anything, but she could easily be treated like a piece of meat that was only there to be gnawed on when Teddy was bored. She’d seen it with other couples loads of times and even if Teddy was her first real boyfriend, she was very happy with the way the treated each other. As he wrapped his arms around her hips she wrapped hers around his neck.
She never got upset if he wanted to hang out with his friends or have some alone time and he never called her fat or asked her to be sexier when he was around. Yes, she’d seen and heard that these things happened in real relationships. Hannah prided herself on being a good and trusting girlfriend. As far as she knew none of the people in Teddy’s life disliked her. Hannah’s nose crinkled at her boyfriend’s cheesy line, but even though it was cheesy it still caused her cheeks to flush lightly. Funny even after two years he still had the uncanny ability to make her blush. She smiled at him before feigning a serious look “I don’t know, maybe I’ll just start going with Bradley Strachan and be all dangerous and slutty and … pierce something” she couldn’t help but smile at her own lack of knowledge of what was considered cool. “you shouldn’t be so sure you’ve got me you know” She smiled up at him playfully.
It was obvious that he knew he didn’t have to worry about her running off with some English import, even if she did often speak in British slang. She tightened her grip around his neck as he spoke and hugged him a bit, “that is why you have nothing to worry about” she smiled kissing him again, before extending her arms again allowing only her hands to interlock behind his neck. Seeing Teddy had been the best part of her day as well, she was glad her father had given her the idea to crash his work karaoke party. “is it okay that I’m here? I wouldn’t want to distract you from you many awaiting fans” she said waving her arm around the empty room with a smile, she really was more concerned about his boss firing him for “not working” than Teddy himself minding her presence. Of course there were those times when every human being needed time to themselves.

It was probably really cocky of Teddy to just automatically assume that Hannah was joking- that there was really nothing that could come between them. It was honestly how he felt though- cocky or not. Hannah had never given him any reason to second guess the relationship. No reason to think that she was the sort of girl who would cheat on someone. Their relationship was stronger than a lot of other high school relationships, and he wasn’t the only one who thought so. Most people assumed they’d be together forever now, that Teddy and Hannah would be like the Marshall and Lily of any future group of friends they have. You know, the sort who get married first, have only ever had sex with each other, and make you feel really insecure in your lack of ability to find the one. They were the exception to the rule that high school relationships never lasted much past graduation.
Which was why Teddy was confident in snorting slightly at her suggestion of leaving him for Bradley. For one, he knew the guy wasn’t exactly Hannah’s type. Two, Bradley wasn’t exactly what you would call available. Sure he wasn’t ‘in a relationship’, but it was pretty common knowledge to most of the people around school that he had a thing for Ruby Honeycutt. Of course no one really knew truly the full extent, there were indeed rumours circulating that suggested the pair had well, sealed the deal so to speak. “Oh please..” He rolled his eyes teasingly. “You wouldn’t know how to be a slut.” He told Hannah, a smirk on his features. “Besides, Doesn’t Bradley prefer blondes who don’t talk much?” He paused for a moment, letting Hannah assuming he was talking about her hair, before continuing. “He’d get sick of you blabbing on in an hour.” Though it was a jibe, Teddy delivered it with as much love an adoration as he could muster. In his opinion, it wasn’t a bad thing. Nothing about Hannah was bad.
Teddy loved the dynamic he had with Hannah. They could go from sweet and romantic, to teasing, to fangirling over some nerdy thing (and yes, Teddy had been known to act like a fangirl on occasion. When they had gone to see the last Harry Potter film, for example..), quicker than people could even follow the thread of the conversation. It was actually pretty easy, considering a lot of the sweet things he said to Hannah were full of references to something. Still though. The dynamic between them was unique, and something he wasn’t sure he would ever find with anyone else. She was his best friend, and exciting girl adventure all rolled up into one red headed, Hannah shaped package, and he was still so thankful that she had chosen him. She may not have thought that she was the most beautiful girl in the world, but he sure as hell did.
Pulling her a little closer for a tight hug, he buried his face in her neck for the moment. Of course he had nothing to worry about. Smiling, he stayed in the warm embrace for a few moments before pulling away. A cocky smirk on his lips. “My fans may try and fight you for my affection.” He informed Hannah. Loosening his grip on her a little. “Those bitches love it when I sing Disney.” Of course, the cocky bravado was a joke. He may have been sure that Hannah loved him, but he was fairly certain most other girls he knew thought he was the biggest nerd out there. Not that he cared toon much. One day nerds would rule the world and everyone else would realise how awesome they were. “Are you kidding me though?” He raised an incredibly bushy eyebrow, now serious. “I love that you are here. If you left I might cry.”

Hannah loved Teddy and pretty much everyone knew it, so why wouldn’t Teddy. True people could get bored in warm and fuzzy, blissful sort of relationships, but Teddy was so unique and different that he constantly kept her on her toes, in the best way possible of course. She’d choose Teddy over Bradley any day, honestly who would choose a commitment-phobe over someone who has no problem telling you how important you are to their life? Ruby would apparently, she seemed like such a sweetheart and Hannah couldn’t understand why she bothered with the likes of Bradley instead of finding her own Teddy. He was her ideal for boyfriends, if for whatever reason the two of them ever did break up, she’d always compare every other guy to Teddy, he was perfect for her. No one person could be perfect, but the way they complemented each other made them both better. That in Hannah’s eyes was what a relationship should be.
She smiled lightly before feigning a defensive face “hey, I could be an amazing slut” she said nodding indignantly. She shrugged at his question “well you know what they say once you go ginger you don’t go back” never in her life had she heard anything to that degree, but telling the truth wasn’t the name of this game anyway. She gasped and gave him a gentle punch obviously not delivered to instill any pain whatsoever “I don’t babble”, she allowed a smile to cross her lips and light up her eyes. They both knew how much they meant to each other which made their teasing banter all the more amusing. Hannah’s father raised her to have very healthy, practical views on relationships, she never expected someone to make her happy, if that was your idea about relationships you’d end up very unhappy.
Instead she looked at it from the stand point of “does this person make me feel like a better person, do they help me more than hurt me and most of all will they still love me even when they don’t like me? Because it’s bound to happen”. Maybe she couldn’t answer all of those questions in regard to her lovely boyfriend considering the fact that he seemed to like her very much still even after two years, but in every relationship there comes a time when one or the other and if you’re very lucky both sides don’t like the other. What keeps those couples together though, is knowing that because they still love each other that time will pass. Hannah figured that was why her father liked Teddy so much, because he didn’t want his daughter going through what he went through and he knew somehow that Teddy couldn’t do that to Hannah – he couldn’t knowingly hurt her. They were a special high school couple for sure and both of them knew that.
Hannah didn’t want to be without Teddy just as much as he didn’t want to be without her and that was why his cockiness didn’t even bother her. It was well founded. She smiled as he hugged her and snuggled himself in her shoulder and she knew that smile wouldn’t leave her face for a while. She raised her eyebrows at him as he spoke “doesn’t everyone love when you sing Disney?” she questioned as if the answer were an obvious and emphatic yes. She scrunched her nose at him as he reminded her of what she already knew, he loved her, but for some reason hearing those words never got old and mundane. Giving his a peck on the lips as she pulled away she whispered into his ear “I love you more than I love coffee”, everyone who spent five seconds with Hannah knew she had a very unhealthy obsession with coffee, so that was her quirky way of showing how much love she had for him. Even though he trumped coffee tenfold on her love scale without even trying to.

Everyone should love to sing Disney. It should be like, part of the constitution or something. Though, Teddy knew that some people, some bitter twisted people didn’t actually like Disney at all. That was something that Teddy couldn’t understand really. I mean, he’d listen to their reasons if they offered them to him but he didn’t think he would ever agree or even understand when someone said to him that they didn’t like Disney. Sure, he could understand a person having issues with the inane junk they tried to pass off a kids programming these days on the Disney channel. That stuff wasn’t so great (though, he would admit to watching a few episodes or so of Wizards of Waverly Place, but shh). Classic Disney though, that was where it was at. He was one of the only teenage guys he knew with a collection of Disney memorabilia and Mickey mouse sheets (That was of course, when his Batman sheets were dirty) but he didn’t care. He was proud of who he was.
At her whispered confession, Teddy pulled away to stare at his girlfriend in feigned shock. His eyes bugging out as he let out a loud “Wow!” Now, he knew that perhaps his reaction was far too over the top, but he didn’t care. It made him just giddy whenever she said she loved him- even though the blissful words passed her lips a lot. It didn’t matter. Besides, if she was going to be silly and compare her love for him to coffee, than he was going to make a big deal out of it. “Coffee?” He questioned, eyeing her as if dubious of her statement. “You really love me more than coffee?” Without waiting for her to confirm, Teddy threw his head back, letting out another “Wow!” Jumping up, he pumped his fists into the air. “My girlfriend loves me more than coffee. My life is totally complete now.” Laughing at his own antics, he scrunched up his nose as he let his gaze rest on Hannah again. God, he was lucky Hannah put up with him sometimes.
“So Hey.” He started, before she had a chance to call him a dork (which was well within her rights to do so if she wanted actually), Pulling himself up onto the counter. “I was thinking, since there is no one here. Why don’t I close the place early and we do something?” He cocked a brow, curious to hear her answer. Teddy knew she’d never really say no to him, that wasn’t what he was curious about. It was more that he wanted to know what she was likely to suggest. Truth was he wasn’t in the mood for anything in particular, so it was really up to Hannah how they spent the rest of the night.

They worked, many would say it was likely due to the fact that they were both uber nerds and they were the only people in the world that could stand each other. However, with everything they had in common they had their differences she loved egg rolls and exchanging jokes during movies of course only if they were related to the movie or show. Maybe they didn’t have major differences, but one thing that Teddy taught Hannah was that you shouldn’t worry about what others thought. She was bullied a lot as a young girl and that made her wonder what was so wrong with her. Teddy helped her see it doesn’t matter what others think is wrong with you, if you like yourself and what you contribute to the world, you’re perfect. Having so much in common with her boyfriend was definitely a benefit in Hannah’s eyes. It was like Teddy said she wasn’t sure people could put up with her babbling and how she changed subjects mid-sentence more than she’d like to admit. Besides she couldn’t imagine not being able to geek out with her boyfriend and still be if not more so desirable to him.
She didn’t like when people said they were the same, they weren’t, they just complemented each other very, very well. She smiled and feigned an eye roll as he began to freak out. She nodded as he clarified what she’d just said “yep, more than coffee” she said seriously keeping with the surprise element of their goofy conversation. Hannah couldn’t hold back a laugh as he began to pump his fists in the air, it was a good thing she loved his dorkiness to no end that was for sure and maybe people were right, maybe no one else could appreciate Teddy’s ridiculousness, but Hannah loved it enough for everyone. That’s why they worked, above all of the things they had in common, the one thing everyone in the world could learn from them was the fact they accepted each other for who they were and didn’t try or even want to change each other.
Hannah indeed had more than enough right to call the curly haired boy a dork, but she wouldn’t even if he’d given her the chance, well she might have, but she wouldn’t have been malicious about it. To her dork, nerd and geek were all terms of endearment. She listened intently to what he was saying “wouldn’t that be against the rules, I don’t want to encourage you to do something you’d get in trouble for” she shrugged as she leaned against the counter next to him “but then again danger looks good on you” she smiled teasingly and rested her head against his arm pondering what they could do. “it’s a Monday…” she said as if that limited a lot of their options, which technically it did “you wanna come back to mine? I promise snacks and Firefly DVD’s” she said pouting her lips in a feigned sexy voice. Hannah didn't think she was sexy in the slightest, but found it amusing occationally to show off how non-sexual she was.

Hannah was wrong. Very rarely, but she was wrong on one particular thing. She was sexy. Incredibly so. Not so much when she was putting it on though, he could go with or without that. It was more, just.. who she was that made her sexy. First, it would be a lie to say she wasn’t a completely attractive young woman, but it wasn’t just her looks that he was so taken with. Looks were just an added bonus for Teddy really. It was the way she smiled when reading a new comic book, or the glint in her eye when she was teasing him. Just.. He could go on. Bottom line was that she was wrong when she thought she wasn’t sexy. However, that wasn’t exactly something he’d ever corrected her on. Sure, he was fantastic at telling Hannah that she was beautiful, intelligent, and a whole host of other compliments, but he skirted around.. well. That sort of thing.
It wasn’t that he didn’t want to, or she didn’t... you know. He was a teenage boy- of course the physical intimacy they did share did all the normal things to him. The thing was though, it was a big step. He’d heard so many cautionary tales about how sex can ruin relationships, and about babies and diseases and all that sort of thing. If they were going to take that next step, he wanted to be sure that he was doing the right thing. His relationship with Hannah was far more important than getting some nookie. Or whatever it was people called it. And alright, if he was going to be completely honest, he was a bit.. worried, about if he’d be any good. I mean, they never talked much about it, but he knew it wouldn’t be her first time and he wasn’t sure how that would all play into things.
He could think about all of that later though. Right now, he was going to spend the rest of the night with his girlfriend and life was pretty freaken awesome. Grinning, he shrugged casually. “I walk on the wild side, what can I say?” Truth be told, it wasn’t that big a deal. His boss would rather not have to pay Teddy for hanging around doing nothing, and it was a well known fact Monday was usually dead. Most people held off on renting movies until cheap Tuesday and honestly, Teddy didn’t blame them. A bargain was a bargain. At her offer, Teddy let out a small chuckle. “Best offer ever.” He grinned, pulling Hannah in for a quick kiss before moving away. “Just let me shut everything off and count the till and stuff. Any music requests while I do that?” He cocked his head to the side, smiling at her questioningly.

Hannah had the best boyfriend in the world and she knew it. He never pressured her into having sex in the first few weeks of their relationship like most boys would have, but at this point – after two years – the fact that he hadn’t even brought it up was beginning to worry her. She never doubted that even though she didn’t think she was beautiful that Teddy did… until now. Why wouldn’t he have brought it up? Maybe all the things he told her, that she was beautiful, intelligent and awesome, maybe it was all lies. Hannah was beginning to think their relationship had fallen into the friend zone without them even noticing, well she noticed, they were a lot like friends who kissed and cuddled. What was confusing to her was, could you have a relationship that wasn’t sexual and still call someone your boyfriend. Gosh, her mind was starting to sound like a Sex and the City narration and she hated Sex and the City. She needed to shake these feelings and stop over thinking everything.
She couldn’t help but wonder though, if maybe he just wasn’t attracted to her. A friend sure they were destined to be at least friends, but maybe she wasn’t the rest of the package for him. She couldn’t bring herself to think that he would do that to her, that he wouldn’t tell her everything he was feeling. She was being insecure she decided and tried to ignore the nagging question eating her cerebral fluids like a cancer. Her thoughts were suppressed just in time to hear her boyfriend try to sound dangerous, everyone knew he was anything but, well he could be very dangerous to Hannah’s heart, but that wasn’t something that would cross her mind right now. “oh so James Dean” she giggled. It seemed whenever she heard Teddy speak she was comforted and all her doubts dissipated to her he felt like the safest person in the world – in the best possible way. Not in the boring I’m only with you cause you’re safe type of way, but in the way that he made her feel all warm and cuddly, like he would try to protect her from the world even if he knew full well she could do it herself.
They were both the Robin’s to each other’s Batman, swooping in whenever the other needed them the most. Why was she doubting this again? They were kings amongst high school relationships, not only that but among men and women everywhere. They worked without sex, so why was she so worried? Because she was worried he was coming to the same conclusion she’d had ages ago – she didn’t deserve him. A smile spread across her freckled face as he proved yet again she was enough and she scolded herself silently as he kissed her for doubting that he loved her, if he didn’t he wouldn’t kiss her or hug her every chance he got, they were physical. She pulled him into a hug before releasing him to go about his business. She nodded as he spoke and then allowed her eyes to brighten as he asked her for a request “best boyfriend ever” she said before thinking for a moment “you know I love a great Beadles cover, if you’ve got any” it was true, it had been the only reason she went to see Across the Universe in theaters, the actors in the movie sounded lovely, but she felt the girl fell short of their talent. She hoisted herself on to the counter leaning on her hands.
