-- LEVY JUSTUS MORGAN !
-- NAME: Levy Justus Morgan -- NICKNAMES: None that actually stem from his name… though, there are certainly some things he’s been called. -- AGE & BIRTHDAY: Twenty-four; April 14th. -- BIRTH PLACE: Plymouth, MA. -- ORIENTATION: Not picky, as long as he's in control. -- OCCUPATION & SCHOOL GRADE: 3L—third year law student. -- PLAYED BY: Ben Barnes
-- PERSONALITY !
-- SILVER TONGUED: Words have always been Levy’s playground. Being able to use them to persuade people or otherwise get the reaction he wants out of them. Levy’s not one for fighting with his fists—or really, even fighting at all. He much prefers to simply get everyone doing what he wants them too without having to fight in any way. His way with words could be seen all through high school and after, having participated in speech and debate and minoring in Rhetoric through college. Even his decision to become a lawyer was partially fueled by his ability to convince people of what he wanted to convince them of just by articulating a point. (Though, really, this all stemmed from his search for control.
-- POSSESSIVE: This applies, not only to his relationships—when he has one—but also to most things he associates himself with. Levy has an overactive sense of self entitlement. It doesn’t matter what it is, but he believes he’s entitled to whatever he wants. It’s lead to some promiscuity and a complete lack for the impact he has on others. If he wants it, he considers it his and he’ll do whatever he has to too guarantee that no one gets in his way. Whether that applies to him with a woman or something else, if it’s his, he’ll make sure it stays that way. Leading into the idea that people aren’t people to him—they’re targets, victims, or opportunities.
-- NARCISSISTIC: No one is better than Levy. Or, that’s what he thinks. He doesn’t just think he’s pretty cool, he honestly thinks that there is no one better than him. A grandiose sense of self that plays into the rest of his actions, working right alongside his thirst for control and domination. While he doesn’t necessarily make every situation about himself, he certainly thinks he’s too good for a lot of the things or people he has been surrounded with. As was mentioned before, people aren’t even considered people to him. He doesn’t evaluate how their dreams or desires factor in because he simply doesn’t care—the only thing that matters is achieving his own goals. He doesn’t mind stepping on a few of the little people on his way to the top—or even stepping on the big guys, either.
-- SOCIOPATH:To understand Levy, it would suffice to say that he could clinically be diagnosed a sociopath. It’s really not all that uncommon, especially in those that strive towards careers as a lawyer, politician, or other such field. The desire for power is there, the lack of guilt, and the complete disregard for what most consider being morals. You may not even notice, unless you’re paying attention. While he certainly is possessive, narcissistic, and doesn’t give a shit about you, he’s very good at putting on a false charm and properly portraying ‘normal’ emotions. But, heaven forbid you get in the way, because you’ll see just how committed he is to getting what he wants.
-- LOVES: Fast cars, ‘the chase’ (relationally), himself, being in the center, quiet girls, the idea of being a lawyer, his dad’s way of life, talking, alcohol, swimming, winning, and dogs. -- HATES: His mother, sitting still, being held back, ignorance, anyone like himself, children, cooking or anything he deems to be ‘woman’s’ work, red wine, losing, most sports, and cats.
-- HISTORY !
The Morgan household has always been normal. Adam and Eliza Morgan always wanted a child, and on April Fourteenth. Life was good. They both loved their son, did their best to raise him well, and otherwise made him their whole world. To say he was spoiled would be an understatement. To the point where his parents ignored several signs about him that would clue them into his rather… interesting behavioral issues. Through middle school and then into high school, Levy was always the one to either take control of a situation or get labeled as a bit of a ‘bully’. Though, he managed to remain out of the principal’s office and generally unscathed. He’s always had an affinity for making money and dominating those around him, something that started to develop in high school. As he became more interested in extracurricular activities, speech and debate, student council, and swimming just offered him more places to win against others and fuel his opinion that he was better than everyone.
At fifteen, his parents got a divorce and his mother sued for full custody of Levy. Eliza, being more of the nurturing, compassionate type, was never someone that Levy felt all that interested to be around unless it was to manipulate her into doing what he wanted. He much preferred his father’s ideas of doing whatever it takes and making it to the top. So, when his dad’s attorney lost the case, he decided that he was going to follow that path as a defense attorney and become the best damn lawyer Massachusetts had ever seen… or, depending on the day, the best damn lawyer ever. World domination is just one of the many things on his list. Suffering through a few more years living simply with his mother and generally getting away with murder (not literally), he attended a college in Capeside to receive his Bachelors in political science with a law & corporation concentration.
Next up, law school. While commitment has never been a strong point for him, the desire to show everyone that he was the best propelled him through the first two years with minor injury. In fact, along the way, he even made some money on the side and started his own… business. A lucrative one, at that. Gambling has always held a certain place in his heart, so when he started his own underground gambling ring at the college campus, it was a hit. By invitation only and safely guarded, he started with a few people and eventually, after the two years he’s been going strong, he extended to others and even those that are students anymore. Getting ready to start his third and final year of law school, Levy believes he’s on top of the world. He has a girlfriend, he’s sleeping with his girlfriend’s sister, making money, and finishing school. All the while, making sure none of lies he’s formed meet one another, and thus far, doing a very good job at it.
