Well, this is very obvious, as Nataliya is a mother. But she never had been motherly before Rowan and Hazel. She had honestly thought that babies were annoying, crying little things, and that they would grow up to be bratty, demanding kids. Well, Rowan and Hazel proved her wrong. They could be colicky at times when they were a baby, but her twins proved to be worth it. She loves them dearly, and would do anything from them. She'd also make sure nobody would ever, ever harm them, and would take a bullet for them. She loves them that much.
-- FRIENDLY:
Nataliya's a friendly woman, especially with children and people around her age. She's friendly by nature, she always has a little chat with her customers when they come by the bakery. When she was working her rear off working as a waitress, Nataliya was always friendly and polite with her customers, and if they wanted to she'd chat a little with them too. It was fun to do, and it gave her extra tips, which Nataliya needed, if she was ever going to start her own bakery. One of her favorite parts of working as a waitress and a baker was talking to the customers.
-- CREATIVE:
Nataliya's a very creative person, especially when it comes to frosting. In college her favorite class was cake decorating, and she was quite good at it too. Nataliya loves to create frosting flowers and designs, and makes a pretty good frosting. When it comes to cupcake recipes and other type of pastries, she's pretty creative at what type of things she bakes. Her Uncle Alexei, Aunt Fiona, Rowan and Hazel are her official tasters, and her favorite thing to do is to have a pastry tasting session with her family.
-- HEARTBROKEN:
Despite that Nataliya acts otherwise, and seems otherwise, she's still heartbroken over the fact that her ex-boyfriend and the father of her twins, Tanner, abandoned her after Nataliya told him she was pregnant. She knew Tanner was probably scared at the thought of being a father, but it didn't give him an excuse to go all the way to California for a "new job". A part of Nataliya is still in love with Tanner, and remembers him before he left. She even misses him, despite wanting to slap him across the face at the same time, and hates herself because of that. But even she cannot control the matters of her own heart.

Nataliya Sasha Andanov was born to Nikolai and Liliya Andanov on March 25, 1983 in St. Petersburg, Russia. She was their first and only child, a fact that made Nataliya very lonely and sad when growing up. When she was five, her parents moved to a little place in America named Capeside, Massachusetts due to the fact that her dad got a job offer in Boston, Massachusetts. Nataliya was only five when she and her parents immigrated to America, so it was easier than for most people. She barely remembers Russia, and to her Capeside has always been her home. Her parents still spoke Russian at home, though, so she grew up bilingual, using Russian at home and English at school. Growing up, Nataliya had a relatively normal life. She had friends and did OK in school. When she was eighteen and a senior in high school, she met her now ex-boyfriend, Tanner, and in almost no time at all they became rather close.

For college, Nataliya went to Johnson & Wales in Denver, Colarado, and Tanner went to another college in Denver. At Johnson & Wales, Nataliya studied culinary arts, and took a lot of classes involving baking. Her favorite was cake decorating. She did well, and began to dream about opening her own bakery when she graduated, or perhaps work at one. She still maintained a steady relationship with Tanner throughout college, and exchanged emails with her parents. When she was twenty-two she graduated as one of the top of her class. Having big hopes for the future, she and Tanner returned to Capeside again, until they figured out their futures. Everybody, even Nataliya, expected Tanner to propose to Nataliya, since they had been dating throughout senior year of high school and college, but he never did.

She did lose her virginity to him, though, when she was twenty-three, a week before her twenty-fourth birthday, which was one of the worse mistakes she had ever made. While it felt like a good thing at the time, she began to regret it later. A few weeks after she had lost her virginity to Tanner, Nataliya found out she was pregnant. It was terrible. Nataliya didn't want to be pregnant. She had her whole life ahead of her! She didn't want a child dragging her down. At least Tanner would help her out, right? Well, she was wrong. Completely, utterly wrong. Upon finding out that he was going to become a father, Tanner left Capeside supposedly for a new job in California, leaving Nataliya alone in Capeside, heartbroken and having her deal with all the difficulties of the pregnancy. She never contacted him again, and he didn't even give her one of those lousy child support checks. She knew her parents would be horrified if they ever found out, and she was still living with them at the time, so she wore very loose shirts. But eventually they found out. After a while, a pregnancy bump is hard to hide.

Her parents reacted even worse than Nataliya thought they would. They didn't just cry, get angry for a little bit, and then decide to support their only daughter. They got so angry it was almost unbelieveable how angry they were, and they couldn't believe their daughter could just get herself knocked up. Then they decided that Nataliya wasn't their daughter. In other words, they basically disowned Nataliya. It shocked Nataliya that her parents would be so cruel, expecting Nataliya to survive on her own, pregnant, but soon enough the shock turned into hatred. Those weren't her parents. Luckily, she met her Uncle Alexei and Aunt Fiona. Uncle Alexei was Nataliya's father's brother, but they had never been close, and Nataliya's grandparents basically disowned her Uncle when he fell in love with Aunt Fiona, who was Irish instead of Russian. They had no children, Aunt Fiona couldn't have any, and welcomed Nataliya with open arms and treated her like a daughter. They were the support Nataliya needed, and for that she was greatful. During her pregnancy, the three of them developed a close relationship.

Eventually, Nataliya gave birth to identical twin girls, who looked exactly like her, for which Nataliya was greatful. She didn't want any reminders of Tanner, who she still had feelings for, despite what she said. She named them Rowan Anastasia Andanov and Hazel Irina Andanov. She didn't think they didn't deserve to have the surname of the father who abandoned them. Despite not wanting to have any children get in the way of her dreams nine months earlier, Nataliya fell in love with her twins. She became motherly, and spent a lot of her time taking care of them. Any free time she had was working her rear off to buy her own business, for which she could do what she loved, baking, and get a job for once. She had some money from her bank account, since as a kid she had saved up all the allowances she ever got, and her aunt and uncle's college money for their kid that they had saved up for nothing since they didn't have any kids, but Nataliya wanted to get the rest of her money on her own.

Now, at age twenty-seven, she finally has enough money to start up her own bakery. Rowan and Hazel are three now, and when she finally opens her bakery, Nataliya can finally get a break. The future looks bright for her after three years of hardships.
