I don't think she really thinks things like that through. Have you ever told her how it makes you feel? Not to sound preachy, or anything.
And, for the record, you're not insignificant at all. Not just my opinion. Fact.

trust me. i think her goal in life is to make me miserable and feel miserable all the time. i've tried, but she doesn't listen.
that's just something you are saying.. i'm just your girlfriend's little sister. no one important.
again, screw the professors. forget them. i happen to think you were born to be a musician. now, i don't know how well you are in school, but i'm not afraid to tell you that when you played your guitar, i seriously swooned on the inside. it was so beautiful.
