-- CHARMING: Charisma, the boy has it in ample. He’s a charming lad, from his smile, to his polite chivalry. Partly due to his up-bringing, and partly to the fact that he’s just born with.. something. It’s hard to really explain what about him draws people in. It’s always helped him be a rather popular kid. He can be rather intimidating though, when he’s there, acting so cool. Some people find his sauvé demeanour off-putting, or just fake. Which, perhaps some of it is. A façade he’s cultivated. Some of it though, is actually real. He really was brought up to say please and thank you, and open doors and the like.

-- DIVA: Freddie can be a rather difficult young man to get on with. He’s high-maintenance and does nothing to hide that fact. He thinks he’s entitled to anything and everything, and while he will ask you politely for his ridiculous request, he can get rather worked up and upset when he can’t have it. He’s convinced he needs a room temperature class of water with exactly three squeezes of lemon before he performs of any type, and if he doesn’t get it, he can work himself up so much that he ruins the performance. It’s not only his professional life though- he asks a lot from his friends and family.

-- COCKY: He’s good, and boy does he know it. The young man has spent a great deal of his life being told just how wonderful he is, so it’s not a surprise that he has tickets on himself. Sure, he could have taken it all in modestly, but he just wasn’t built that way was he? Besides which, it made life so much more exciting when you went through it just knowing how amazing you are. Just how amazing he really is though, is beside the point. Also a debatable topic. Only don’t go debating it in-front of him. He wouldn’t like that too much.

-- INTENSE: It has been said that ‘creative types’ feel things deeply. Which is very true for Freddie. His feelings are intense. Especially his negative ones, or romantic feelings. He can scare people off a little, with sudden bursts of highly deep musings about emotions and life. Freddie also has a tendency to fall hard and fast for people, then taking forever to let go. He can convince himself that there is still a spark there, and that the other person still has feelings for him, even when there has been absolutely no hint that there is any spark left.

No one, not even Freddie would deny that he had a charmed up-bringing. Born to wealthy parents in Capeside, the boy was only ever exposed to the finer things in life. He went to private schools, had wealthy friends, ate expensive food.. Really, he was sheltered. He lived in a little bubble containing the small social group of Capeside Socialites that he had known since kindergarten. He was happy in the bubble though, to be completely honest. He never had a problem with the parties and the skiing holidays and over-the-top gifts. Even as a young child he seemed to fit in rather nicely in the environment he was in.

Culture was also something that was a rather large part of his life. When he was seven, his parents took him to see Beauty and the Beast on stage. It wasn’t exactly the most common place to take a boy, but it wasn’t the first cultural activity he’d took part in. He’d been to art galleries, museums, the symphony.. Anyway, the difference with that particular outing was this; Freddie fell in love. Much to the dismay of his father (‘boys don’t do musicals, son!’), Freddie fell in love with the music and the stage. In fact, he would not stop begging until his mother allowed him to take lessons in singing, dance and drama—Because if he was going to do it he may as well be a triple threat.

Perhaps his parents were hoping it was a phase that he’d grow out of. If they did though, they didn’t make too much of a fuss when he was actually really talented and that he’d actually like to pursue it as a long term thing. The young man was apart of community theatre and school shows, begging his parents to take him to any and every musical that came along. Instead of going straight to college after school, Freddie took a some time off. He landed the role of ‘Baby John’ in a West-end professional production of ‘West Side Story’. His first Broadway role. Good for him, but now he’s back from New-York, and not talking about why.
