-- TALON HAYLEE SINCLAIR !
-- NAME: Talon Haylee Sinclair -- NICKNAMES: None Yet -- AGE & BIRTHDAY: Twenty - Five & February Thirteen -- BIRTH PLACE: New Orleans, Louisiana -- ORIENTATION: Heterosexual -- OCCUPATION & SCHOOL GRADE: Fulltime Mother;;Part-Time Jeweler -- PLAYED BY: Christina Perri
-- PERSONALITY !
-- INDEPENDANT: Some would call her wild and a hazard to herself and her child. Talon disagrees though, she is simply finally free. No one tells her what to do, or what to say, or how to act. she simply is, and no one will change that. Talon will say what she wants and most of the time says what is on her mind. She will be who she wants, hang with who she wants and no one will change that. Talon has a habit of laughing in the face of confrontation, and swaggering her way in and out of bad situations. It gives her the appearance of both looking for trouble and never getting into trouble. She is just lucky i guess. -- STUBBORN: The problem with talon is that when she gets something she wants she holds onto it no matter what. No matter how much it hurts her. She is a fighter and will never give up. And once she has her mind set on something no one, and i mean no one, will be able to change it. If she doesn't like, or want you, it will be damn hard to change her mind. But when she likes you it will prove near impossible to make her unlike you. Even when your loyalty fades; hers will remain. This has torn her apart and turned her slightly single minded. She cannot see beyond what she has been fighting to get a handle on her whole life. -- COMPASSIONATE:Sinclair has a big heart, that sometimes goes beyond just simply caring. Talon is one to drop everything to help anyone, even a stranger and an enemy. She can't just stand by and watch things happen, she needs to help others in every way she can. This also makes it near impossible for her to lie, but she still can talk her way around the truth. But the problem with this is that it hurts her a lot. She loves like no one else and will always love with everything she has that one person, but problem is for some reason people never seem to love her back. -- STRONG:Talon had to grew up fast. She learned not to react to mental or physical pain. It took time but she learned to be strong in matters of the heart too. She does not cry in front of others, especially not over a boy, and somehow she always knows what to say at the right times. Talon knows how to pick her battles now, when to walk away and when to stand her ground. This little woman is strong enough to be on her own, a young single mother; but she is also strong enough to admit when she needs help.
-- LOVES: rarety, her baby swayde and kids in general, men - cause boys suck, long steamy hot bubble baths, challenges, vanilla & peanutbutter & marshmallows, sex in general, laughing, strong coffee & stronger whiskey, music - metal & classical.
-- HATES: feeling weak, monoteny, being underestimated, liars, stupid questions, people who answer questions with another question, failure, cocky bastards, bullies, being judged, chocolate & roses - their ordinary, ordinary - it is boring, fire - deeply afraid of it.
-- HISTORY !
If you asked Talon about her past, she would start at age twenty-four with her pregnancy. But we all know that she had to have a childhood; a history of her own. Then when you pushed you would most likely get a simple one word answer: complicated. Complicated in how she is not exactly sure she knows who her real parents are or, maybe, were. They are nothing but ghosts imprinted in the darker part of her mind where her earliest childhood memories are hid. The parts that her self-preservation insticnts dubbed her not strong enough to remember are probably what you want to know, right? So, lets dig deeper.
Talon was born to a Mrs. Ellen Hidey Rose and Mr. Carl Grey Rose. They lived in a condo in New Orleans and married straight out of highschool. They loved eachother deeply, and were both very religious, Luthern. Mr. Rose was a doctor and Ellen wanted so bad to be a stay at home mother. So, he tried to get her pregnant. They tried for years and it seemed near impossible and a rift between them was slowly starting to form. Ten years into their marriage, Ellen being 30 and Carl being 31, their prayers were finally in the beautiful baby girl who we all know as Talon. She was a beautiful, well most babies are, healthy baby and they counted themselves as lucky. So they treated her as if that's what they were, lucky. The emotional rifts between the parents began to heal and eventually they were happy, again.
Then there was the fire. No one knows how it started, just that no one got caught. They just know that it was late, and it was Thanksgiving. The entire family was over, and somehow, the house lit up like the Thanksgiving turkey. Aunt Elizabeth Sinclair was the one who got baby Talon out and the rest of the family escaped too. Except for her mother and father, but then she was only a baby and was not old enough to understand death. Still, if you asked Elizabeth she would tell you that Talon cried for days afterward, almost nonstop. But eventually, after these types of things, everything stops. Talon stopped crying, and the rest of the family stopped caring. Elizabeth adopted her and promised over her sister's, Ellen's, grave to raise her daughter right.
Eli did a good job of it too. She did not give Talon everything she wanted all the time, even as a young child. Elizabeth gave her time to be a child and enough space to safely spread her wings, letting her learn from her own mistakes. Then didn't punish her too severley for each wrong turn, and their were quiet a few of them. Talon's talent for drawing was discovered in her 3rd grade class, where she began to doodle on the tests when she finished early. The two got along well, and always seemed to have a certain understanding: neither of them asked any questions about that fire, or Talon's parents. And they were happy.
Then her teenage years came, puberty apparently did not fit into their mother-daughter relationship well, and she demanded independence and space. Talon's wings were bigger and her eyes were fixed elswhere. Elizabeth wanted her to stay focused on school, like every other parent, but Talon wanted to go out with friends and party. They were both stubborn with the issue and found themselves butting-heads often. That is, until Talon began sneeking out. Now getting caught was not an option, she had boys and friends who needed her attention, and the party scene was not willing to wait for her. It was in these years that she decided that she prefered whisky. Sadly though, it was her poison of choice that was her downfall. Getting caught taking whisky from Elizabeths liquor cabinet was what put her under GUFN - grounded until further notice. Further Notice just happend to be until she went to college.
A design school gave her a scholarship, and a way out. She loved it, and there, jewelry caught her eye. By this time she had already been broken by enough men that it made her cautious with her heart. She also discovered that whisky gave her brilliant ideas, like the Ernest Hemmingway of design. So, things were good again. Until the boy came around. Talon thought, 'hey, whats one more time?' She thought it was love; turns out, for him, it was just love, but then she did not know until after it was too late: She was pregnant. All the man ever gave her was this baby, and a greyhound ticket too anywhere but there, and in her shock she took the gift. Talon could do this alone afterall, right? So, she closed her eyes and randomly picked her city. Rode the greyhound straight to Capeside, Massachusetts. Time to start again, again. This time though, she is not entirely alone, she has her baby boy Swayd Micheal Sinclair.
-- SAMPLE !
For a man who thought he was a monster, Gabriel was an angel. At first many would agree with him. His entire aura read a violence that matched his record like a well-made peanut butter and jelly sandwich. He could walk into a crowded room and almost instantly it would fall silent. The world seemed to stare for a moment before it gravitated away, repulsed. The young man couldn’t help it though; it was how he was raised, Cali bred and born to set the world aflame. Like father, like son they say. A fact that became clear the first time Talon met Gabriel Senior, when he threatened her life. He swore that if Talon hurt his son he would come after her and she believed he would.
But they were beautiful in their loyalty to each other and the family. The father would take a black eye and Gabby would be there to remind the assailant who was in charge. At a word from one of his sisters the pair was ready to “throw down.” It just took a little longer to find the angel underneath Satan’s clothing.
Then he let Talon closer and underneath the large clothing and all of those harsh lines seemed to melt away. Mocha skin stretched over hard muscle that once seemed made for violence, until she pulled him into the safety of places he didn’t know.
Soft red sheets kissed every curve and painted auburn shadows across skin. The sunset in his honey eyes echoed through my body as he pulled me gently closer. Talon could hardly remember how earlier that day those arms had shook with rage, rage at her. As long fingers brushed across her stomach she hardly noticed the calluses that lay there from the hard labor of a construction worker. Now he was an artist, all the violent edges melted in moments of passion that made him divine, to her. This room, this quiet, and herself were his canvases. That is what he was after all; a world molder.
The smile appeared easily but looked awkward on his face, one that constantly rested on a frown or smirk. Leaning forward he butterflied his lips across hers carefully as if he thought Talon would break. Pulling away he rested his forehead on her collarbone breathing rhythmically. As he slowly licked his lips Talon could feel the soft skin against hers leaving a trail of bumps in its wake, good god she was so hot. Too soon she had rested comfortably in the moment. Talon watched, stunned, as dark chocolate pulled away from her. The eyes that were filled with passion only moments before now dripped with pain pure enough to make Talon's breath catch.
“You shouldn’t love me,” His velvety whisper demanded. “I’m a monster.” Quickly she opened her mouth to protest, but he refused her that right. Swooping down his lips captured hers again in a kiss that bordered between goodbye and reassurance. As he pulled away he sighed and let his eyelashes flutter as he fought an internal war. Abruptly he buried his head in Talon's chest. “I don’t deserve you,” he whispered through his anguish. Sighing, She tangled her fingers within hair that lay as wild as his heart. Her other traced the contours of his long slim back. It was finally Talon's turn to protect him, the stubborn holder of her heart and soul; her own Angel DayBreak, the man who treaded the land of the in-between.
Little did he know; He was not alone.

- Please use capital letters - Twenty three is WAY too young to be a doctor of any kind, not even an intern. You’d still be at med school - Please do not change the application template. I’d like to ask you to remove the added blockquotes and format likes and dislikes in the list separated by commas like asked, thank you. - The concept of being scared of being different so not going outside doesn’t make much sense to me.. It really comes across as a bit racist. I mean, only white family in the neighbourhood? Generalization much? - There’s very little chance someone never went to school, lived on the street, who got pregnant at age 17 and turned to drink, would pass med school, do her internship and residency, and become a surgeon by age of twenty three. There aren’t enough years, and her marks would have suffered and not been high enough - You don’t tell us how she came to Capeside.
